Ashley's pov:
"Good morning everyone, I am happy once again to stand on this podium. This is the fourth time in the span of 2 years and 6 months that I'm doing this. On each occasion, I've always felt like it an event happening for the first time......" the principal states in her speech.
This is why I hate orientations,
The bagga long talking fi no god damn reason
"Dem nuh plan fi done? Mi all a get hungry" tiana frowns
"Dem soon done girl, but after diss dem aguh give we a tour suh we still affi guh wait.
"Is a good thing Mi did eat breakfast, Mikayla says.
The students applaud while another female walks to the podium to greet us.
"Good morning ...."
Here we go again.......
"Ash, how dah Ute deh whe a walk a come look like your boy suh?"
I turned around to see the person shenell was talking about
It can't be.....
"Of course a him."
"Bwoy if onuh nuh meant to be something is wrong"
" girl bye" I respond while rolling my eyes.
Why didn't he tell me he was going to the same school as me?
Jordon's pov:
"Follow me, Mr Sinclair"
I followed behind the usher to locate me where to sit.
"Thanks " I add as she placed me in a row.
Wonder how long this is gonna take...
I look across the room only to realize that a group of girls was steering at me.
It was ash and her friends.
I gave her a wink and turned my attention back to the speaker.
She aguh have a bagga question the minute she gets a chance to speak to me
After 30 minutes which felt like 2 hours the orientation ended and we all exited the auditorium waiting for the tour guide to give us a tour.
"Ummm hello," a familiar voice said behind me
"Hey gorgeous" I respond as I turn around to face her
"Why didn't you tell me you were coming here?"
" I don't know I wanted to surprise you. I'm not doing full time so most of my classes are online."
"Oh okay." She responds with a disappointed look on her face.
"I know you enjoy my company gorgeous"
"Yeah, right."
" meet me at my car after the tour is finished."
"Why?" She asked
"If I told you then I'd be ruining the surprise:"
"Whatever," she said while rolling her eyes.
Ashley's pov:
After 20 minutes of the long tour and collecting my packages I took my phone out to text Jordon that I'm on my way to the parking lot.
"Ash whe yah duh, yah guh whe now?" Tiana asked
"Yup later"
"Later tell us all about it"
"Maybe" I shrugged
By the time I'm at the parking lot, he was already heading towards me.
He took my hand in his and led us to his car.
He opened my door for me and close it as I sat down then went to his side of the car.
"I have something for you."
"What's that," I asked as he stretches his hand to the backseat to pick up something.
"Watch yuh head," he says as he brings forward a bouquet of flowers.
I smiled and gave him a small hug
"Thank you I love them."
"Your welcome, you hungry?"
"Of course" I respond quickly which makes him burst out a laugh
"What would you like? "
"I'm feeling Chinese"
"Okay"
We stopped at a Chinese bistro in halfway tree.
"Good afternoon what I can get for guys?" The cashier asked
" I'll have a sweet chilli chicken mixed with the
Marlo chicken along with fried rice. Ash whe yuh want?"
"I'll take the same thing"
"Anything to drink ?"
"Orange juice" I add
"Umm, a bottle of water will do."
We stayed around a table while we waited for
our numbers to be called.
"Order 26!"
Finally.....
We decided to eat our meals in the car because the place was too crowded.
"Are you okay now?"
"Much better, thanks again."
He nods his head in response as he starts the car to drop me home.
About 25 minutes later and we're at my gate.
"I'm gonna be out of the country for the next three weeks."
"Work?" I asked with a disappointed look on my face"
"Yup" he sighs
"When I come back do you want me to take you out?"
"Sure"
"How about spending the weekend with me at the villa?"
"I'd love that"
"Okay then, I'll see you when I get back"
"Okay great" I respond as I kiss him on the cheek and said my goodbyes.
