Wrong Place, Wrong Time

Just as I finish saying that, Lloyd gets knocked to the ground and Kai smiles, taking off his mask. "Haha, you're getting pretty good, but that move you fell for was basic 101."

"Yeah, if I had focused more when I was little, I would've seen that coming," the blonde says, scratching his head as Kai helps him up.

Sensei smiles, seeing his nephew growing up. "We cannot change the past, but we can improve for the future. Again, and this time, do not hold back."

"You got this, Lloyd. Just keep training and soon enough, we'll be able to defeat your father. Together. We're a team after all heh."

He smiles upon hearing that, but before he gets to continue with his training, the Falcon's squawks, signaling its return to the Bounty, and catches all of our attention. "The Falcon is here!"

We hurry to the top of the Deck just as the Falcon lands on Zane's arm. He notices its frantic expression and looks at us, concerned. "The Falcon has returned with troubling news. What did you see, my mechanical-feathered friend?"

Once Nya connects the Falcon to the control system, it begins playing footage it managed to record showing a familiar city. Nya's eyes widen. "It's the Lost City of Ouroboros!"

"We haven't been there since Pythor and the Great Devourer... This doesn't make sense."

Kai looks at the footage carefully. "Garmadon has returned to the Serpentine home base, but why?"

"Looks like they're preparing for a final battle..." Cole says in disbelief looking at Lloyd and I, worried about what's going to happen.

Sensei stares at the footage a bit more before turning to the window. "Nya, change course. We'll head straight for them."

We manage to get there by nighttime and jump down from the Bounty as we run through the ruined pathways of the lost city, trying hard not to slip or trip over the sand. Once we make it to the center of the city as we hide behind a few buildings, getting ready for our signal to come out. Lloyd and I look at each other for a moment, knowing we're about to face his father now that we're older. I simply give him a sympathetic look, trying to tell him that it's gonna be alright and I'm right there behind him.

He notices and smiles behind his mask, feeling a bit comforted by it.

That's when Sensei jumps out in his Spinjitzu tornado and as soon as he stops, he aims his staff at his older brother. "Ninja, go!"

Garmadon glares and aims his Mega Weapon at him, the snakes behind him getting ready for an upcoming battle. "Oh, brother!"

"It's time we finished this!" Sensei shouts out, getting ready for the incoming fight. That's when the original four boys and Nya, jump out with their weapons in their hands, ready to attack.

Garmadon smirks as he starts making his Mega Weapon glow, hoping to win the fight easily. "Bring it on, fools!"

But just as the Dark Lord gets ready to attack, I jump out and throw one of my fans at him, stunning him in place as Lloyd follows behind and freezes his father's weapon.

"Aargh!" Garmadon screams out in anger before taking a moment to look over at us as his eyes widen in realization. "Lloyd? Is that you?.. And Y/n too?..."

Lloyd nods as he makes his hands glow while I hold my fans tightly. "Yeah. I've grown a little since the last time you saw me, Dad."

"Not only that, we've gotten stronger as well."

Garmadon shakes his head and glares at all of us, trying to not accept what he's seeing. That his little boy is now a teenager and their destiny to fight has come a lot closer. "Stop him!"
