5. Tricks.

And now I have been given a damn odd job. So odd that I don't even know whether to be scared or not.

He had sent me to Sikri with a description of a hare. For god's sake ? Where am I supposed to look for a hare in a whole ass village ? ….i don't even understand. They have tons and tons of rabbits and hares all exported from abroad and the finest breeds. Most royally selected for the royal family. 

Why in two hells does he need a wild forest hare for ? 

Ah…. there's more. Is it because he wants the owner of the hare to look after the animals ? The royal animals ? I don't know. 

All I was told was to bring the hare to him. He also said that it was someone's hare. A girl probably. 

Wait. What in the actual fu-? Am I supposed to abduct a damn wild forest hare ? 

I had thought of many scary tasks which I might be handed before joining as the prince's official service man. Kidnapping an ugly hare was certainly not one of them. 

I realise I don't have expertise in this. Perhaps, I didn't know everything about the royal jobs as I thought. 

Like seriously? Abducting a hare ? 

Must abide by the orders of his majesty. No matter what it is. Even if abducting a hare it is.

Currently, I'm dressed as a local villager to camouflage into the crowd and abduct the said hare. 

And oh my god, a hare with more or less the same description is running around in the market. And behind her is a girl running around trying to catch it. 

Did the hare influence the owner or the owner influence the hare ? Can't be said. I'll do my job like I'm told. But that girl looks like an actual beauty, not going to lie. 

But how am I supposed to abduct it when its owner is around ? As beautiful as the girl looks, she doesn't look naive or defenseless. She probably knows how to fight. What else do we expect from the great ascents of Rani Avantika. 

My father told me not to mess with ladies at a young age, and especially the ladies of sikri. He told me they all were taught to fight from a young age since it was an independent kingdom back in time. 

I'll have to be clever. I'll wait till I get a chance and then shoot my shot. 

I had to wait till an eternity before the girl was finally distracted by some other girls calling her. She went towards the other girls leaving the hare alone. And what do I see ? 

The hare is itself coming towards the bush I'm hiding in. So, God is with me. 

Yes, little guy …come to me. Just making it easy for me ….come right this way and…….yeah! Done. 

I quickly picked him up in my arms and hid him in the bag I specially bought to take the Little guy to the palace.

And finally I set back towards the palace. I poked a little hole in the bag in advance so the little guy didn't reach the palace already leaving the world. I mean. So that he can breathe.

I sat in my chamber waiting for the idiotic service man to show up. Just how much time a well built man takes to steal nothing but a ducking hare ? How is he supposed to work for me ? He can't even bring a hare for me. 

And finally he decides to show up. 

" Rajkumar. I bought it." ….he said with intense glowing eyes. As if he had won a province for me. Hah! 

" Remind me again. How many hours you took to do nothing but bring a certain hare." ……I said as I looked at him with amused eyes. As much as I didn't like to see his expression dropping, I had to. He can't be that happy over completing a minor task. 

" What could I do? Its owner was around all the time. Did I tell you how beautiful she was ? " …….his eyes glowed once again. This time it wasn't quite pleasant for me. 

Exactly.Beautiful and mine. 

That's what she was. He needs to know that. But i can't tell him now or it will just come back like a problem in my way. That doesn't mean I won't. I will probably do that soon even if it has undesirable consequences. He needs to know how to look at her. 

He released the hare in my chamber as it ran around in fear searching a corner to hide. 

I felt bad for the poor thing. But its owner will be here soon. So I needn't feel bad. 

I have what I need now. Now all left to do is just wait and watch how the plan unfolds. 

Whoever you're. My eyes await you constantly even while asleep. And now I can't wait any longer. You'll have to show up. Now or later. You'll have to. 

I couldn't help but smirk at the thought of her stepping into the palace with anger. I know as a matter of fact that this will warm up her nerves. And that's exactly what i want to do. 

I need to know how anger looks on her. And soon enough, I want to own that. The anger, the Beauty, the smile, the gloom and every other inch of her.
