I didn't like what I just said to him.
i was mad at myself for talking to him like that, He was just flirting with me but somewhere I wanted to show him that it is not that easy to impress me.
I felt bad for him
i made him disconcert,
he was little embarrassed too.
But when he saw me looking at his face, he smiled and said, "Sorry Miss Lily I made you wait for the food".
"No problem" and I started eating
And he went inside
Ana looked at me and said "woah, no girl has ever talked to him like that, you just made him to think about his flirting skills,i like you girl."
"I was a little proud of myself but I didn't want to do it, he seems like a nice guy" I replied
"He is, but he doesn't like girls who are easy to please,so I think it's good move"she stated
We both giggled
Jacob came back
"Looks like you girls are having fun"
We both nodded.
Jacob sat down next to me and he asked me
"If you don't mind can I ask you something?"
I said,"yes,why not"
"So what kind of books do you write?" he asked
"All kinds but my favorite genre is supernatural and science-fiction" I said
"That's great, I like science-fiction too, but I think supernatural things are not real, like it's not easy to believe in them, like science-fiction has its own reasons to believe, right?"He said
There are reasons to believe in the supernatural, just like science." I replied
"like, what?" he asked
"Like nature, nature is science and witches use nature as their powers" I explained
Jacob said,"You are right but still I do not believe these things."
"Because he's a doctor so he won't believe in that" ana replied
""Are you a doctor?" I asked
"Yes" answered Jacob
"You?"
"Yes I am, I completed my degree and I also practice because my father wanted me to continue my family legacy
My great grandfather was the first naturopath and that legacy has been passed down through our generations
but i was not into that as i said i believe in science so i chose allopathy but i also learned naturopathy and homeopathy
so i think i am a doctor but i also love to cook so i started this restaurant,
As they say the way to the heart is through the stomach and not just through heart surgery." He explained
"Woah,that's impressive"I expressed and winked
and we laughed
Suddenly ana stood up and said " I have to go now my Granni need me"
"Is everything okay?" i asked
"yes everything is fine. We're having a dinner party tonight so I have to help her out and you guys are invited so don't be late Jacob will you drive Lily to my house tonight?",Ana asked
Jacob answered,"why not".
"Bye guys,see you later" ana said
I hug Ana and say,"goodbye."
