Chapter 9

Jungkook was looking at Tae's departing figure a few feet away. He heard him loud and clear in his brain.. Tae wants him to follow. His legs started moving by itself, giving him no control over his body. No matter how much he tried to stop himself, he couldn't help but go behind Tae. It's like a magnetic pull that he cannot resist.. hypnotized.. until a hand grabbed hold of his.

Kook was momentarily distracted by the hand and turned to look who it is.. "Lisa?"

Lisa was looking at him, sniffling quietly. Tears threatening to spill from her eyes. Jungkook turned to look at where Tae went but he was nowhere to be seen now. Kook started trembling. Lisa's hand felt like fire on his arm. He felt like he is doing something very wrong by letting her stop him like this.

Kook:"Lisa, I need to go. I will come find you myself la..later. Let go now." he felt like he couldn't breathe anymore.

Lisa:"you stood me up in your own party"

It was hard to concentrate on what she was saying.. "I stood everyone up. Let m..me explain everything later. Please!"

Taehyung walked a few steps without looking back but after a few more, he felt his link getting disrupted and when he furthur turned a corner, he couldn't feel his mate anymore. Is he strong enough to resist my request? Is he unwilling to talk? When he turned to look, kook was not following him.
Tae's face immediately became cloudy and slowly he walked back the way he came.

When his eyes landed on the hand that was holding his mate in place, molten anger rolled through him.
He was enraged, his furious eyes started glowing red like lava. His head tilted slowly to the side, eyes observing every movement of his mate.

At that very second, it's not Kim Taehyung that was looking at Jungkook. It was the devil himself.

Jungkook could feel something's really off with his mate. He turned frantically to the sides to see whether he can spot him but he did not find him anywhere. In a moment of panic, he shook Lisa's hand off him and went running towards the back exit.
'Where are you?' he tried the mind link. But no reply came. And Tae was nowhere to be seen on the school backyard.

He was running wildly through the hallways again.. bumping into few people, a sense of dread building up inside him. All he needed now is to see his mate.

After a few seconds of craze, he stopped himself from running. He was gasping for air and his head was throbbing. He leaned on the wall, closing his eyes to calm his breathing when a hand suddenly caught his. Before he could process what's happening, he got dragged into a room.

It all happened very fast, his eyes are still closed. And when he opened.. he was met with the bold and lustrous eyes of Kim Taehyung. And his mate's scent hit him like never before making his vision go hazy.

Tae was hovering over kook's face in a very close proximity, cornering him to the wall. He could hear the other's heart pounding in his chest.. "you are late" he said inhaling his mate's scent deeply, his mouth hovering over Jungkook's neck. Kook couldn't help but close his eyes tightly and tilt his head to give more access to Tae. He could feel the Rut building up in his body.

At first Tae just wanted to talk, pour his anger. But now, he couldn't stop himself. When Jungkook tilted his head more for him, it was too much not to touch his mate. He slowly held Kook's face with both his hands, "do you like that human?"

Jungkook was not in a place to reply as he was fighting inside not to just reach out and close the remaining distance between them. His wolf was going crazy inside him.

Not getting an answer was not bothering Tae as he dove deep into the moment of holding his mate. He dropped one of his hand to kook's shoulders to get a better look at his exposed neck. His mouth started to water and he gulped thinking about how it would feel like tasting his mate. The thought itself just stole him of any little self control he had and soon he was leaning closer. When his nose touched his mate's skin, he heard kook let out an uncontrollable moan. That single sound was like a drug to Tae. He poked his tongue out and slowly took a long lick across the neck, leaving a slick trace behind.

Jungkook was gasping for air, the lick was everything he could ask for and he snaked both his hands around his mate's neck, pulling Tae even more closer. Licking turned into a sucking and soon enough the marks were all over the neck.. he felt powerless in Tae's hungry arms that are wandering all over his body.

They were both in rut. They didn't know when it started but it did. Now they couldn't seem to stop themselves.

As much as Jungkook loved Tae ruining his neck, he wants to know how Tae's mouth feel like. So he tried to held his mate's face away from his neck but Tae was not having it, going at it again and again.

'Look at me' Kook said in their link holding his mate's face with both hands. Tae stopped abruptly and slowly lifted his face to meet his eyes. Jungkook's eyes are hazy, like he's drunk and he's sure his eyes looked the same.

But his thought was cut short by Jungkook closing the distance between them and pressing their lips together. He turned themselves around and held Tae against the wall. His lips were pressed soft at first and when Tae's lips parted slightly, kook took the chance to slip his tongue inside. Their kiss was wet and hot, burning eachother.. bodies pressed together against the wall as they tasted eachother without a single motive to stop.

But suddenly both of them halted. A sound only wolves can hear. A calling howl of the Alphas of their packs.

The moment they came back to their senses, both of them stepped back from eachother. Their hair is all messed up and their shirts wrinkled. And when Jungkook looked around, they were in a dark room.. maybe a lab? he doesn't remember.

Another set of howls came indicating their packs facing a big threat. Jungkook was quick to say, "I..I need to go"

"Our Alphas will take care.. we never talked. I need to.."

"If there's threat, then i need to be with my dad now" Jungkook said cutting Tae off.

Tae furrowed his brow. He was confused. Their dad's were both Alphas who can protect themselves and their pack without any hinderence. That's why they are Alphas. They are powerful by themselves and along with other pack memebers, they are untouchable. Then why kook feel the need to be with his dad?

Tae:"okay. But can we meet up later?" he asked curiously watching kook's every reaction. Because Jungkook was acting restless now.. he keeps shifting on his legs.

Kook:"Yeah okay. You... stay in school okay?" he said when another set of howls can be heard.

Tae was staring at the back of his mate exiting through the school door, running.
Why is he acting like this? Does he acts this way to every threat?
