Chapter 19

I walked the rest of the way to school in a happy trance.
I couldn't believe Sin kissed me! Did that make us official? Or was it just a heat of the moment thing? I really hoped it wasn't just a moment thing.

I walked through the doors of school. Everyone in the corridor fell silent and stopped what they were doing to look at me. Every single pair of eyes held pity. Gulping slightly, I held my head high and walked to my locker. The bell rang and I was left alone. Well, so I thought.

"You should really stop skipping lessons," Sin's voice said behind me.

I span around and Sin caught me in an embrace. He smiled down at me through his eye lashes and kissed me. My heart fluttered at the gesture. He pulled back a bit, still hugging me. I rested my head on his chest and sighed.
"Everyone's looking at me like I'm made of glass and I could shatter at any moment," I told him sadly.
He clicked his tongue and ran his hands through my loose curls.
"Can't have that now, can we?" He smiled softly down at me.
I smiled back at him. I would have happily stayed there forever.
