16. The Distance

As soon as the news of Becky and Thorn working together in a new project broke out, old shippers started shipping them again. Its been a week and the ship is trending on every platform. Sky and Becky were also not able to talk to each other everyday. As becky needs to promote the series as well as she started shooting for the new project, it becomes difficult for her to even take some time to eat. She was skipping sleep and was not able to contact sky more often. Sky kept informing becky about her whereabouts on messages and also tried to talk so many times, but most of the times she was unable to reach becky.

15 days passed so slow for both of them, and sky returned for the weekend. She reached Becky's condo and informed her that she is here and waiting for becky to finish her work and come home. It was saturday morning when she landed and planning to leave on sunday night. She wanted to spend these two days and a night with becky. But because of some problems at the set and becky promoting the series, the shoot got delayed. And they now need to work all day and night to catch up the schedule.

Sky:- hello, when are you coming back?

Becky:- i can't come today, i need to shoot until tomorrow

Sky:- oh, have you eaten anything

Becky:- you should eat too, don't wait for me. I will come to you tomorrow and we will spend the whole day together

Sky:- what if, i come to you instead. On your set. I j-just want to see you

Becky:- its not possible no body else other than crew members are allowed on the set.

Sky:- oh okay can we do video call instead

Becky:- i dont have enough time now, when i get some time i will call you. I have to go now. Bye

Sky:- ok by....(but the call got cut) i think her shot is ready

Sky waited the whole day for the call but becky never called. She slept on the sofa while waiting for the call. In the morning when she woke up, she immediately checked her phone but no calls or messages from becky are there.

She tried calling becky but received no answer. So she took a shower and prepared breakfast. She waited whole day and never went out for a single minute, because she thought becky might come any second now. Its 6pm already and sky needs to leave for airport in half an hour. She tried calling becky again and still got no answer. But her phone rang immediately, it was becky. Sky picked up immediately but heard a sob coming out from the phone,

Sky:- beck, are you crying

Becky:- i am sorry, you came all the way and i can't even..

Sky:- hey its okay. I know you are busy. And don't worry i will be back next weekend. We will meet...

Becky:- no we can't meet next weekend too

Sky:- ....

Becky:- we are leaving for the shoot in Phillipines after a couple of days and the shoot will take 5 days

Sky:- what if i come to Phillipines instead

Becky:- nobody is allowed to meet anyone else other than crew members

Sky:- okay i will come between weekdays. when you will be back just inform me and i will catch the next flight and come to you.

Becky:- are you sure, can you do that, won't it affect your work

Sky:- its okay someone will manage the work

Becky:- promise me you will come

Sky:- i will... Now stop crying and focus on your work. Its a really big opportunity for you. Okay. I will leave for the airport now.

Becky:- i miss you

Sky:- i miss you too baby. Take care.

And just like that you spend the weekend in Becky's house alone. 😂😂
