Reader's POV
"Please, never lie to me."
Holy shit! Did THE Joker just say he 'loves' ME!? ... I must be dreaming... So I'll just go along WITH the dream, cause... I CAN ONLY EXPRESS MY FEELINGS TOWARD HIM IN A DREAM!! THERE'S NO WAY IN HELL THIS IS TRUE!! I smiled,
"I... I love you too."
"I'm glad... But I hope you know that... This isn't all a dream my dear."
I froze. It's not a dream... He smiled for real this time,
"Although people confess their feelings in dreams... I wasn't you to confess in reality my love."
I giggled,
"I really do love you though... But... You're dating harley... Aren't you?"
He looked at me blankly... Then started laughing hysterically. I tilted my head in confusion. Why was he laughing? Did I say something funny? Or stupid? He suddenly stopped laughing and went serious which scared me,
"Quinn and I are strictly business. There's nothing whatsoever. Plus she too... Obsessive."
He kept a serious face on and I smiled. He stared at me,
"What?"
I reached out to his mouth with both my hands,
"Why so serious?"
Then I stretched his mouth carefully into a smile,
"Let's put a smile on that face!"
He grabbed my wrists and pulled them down smiling at the phrases I quoted,
"You're the one thing, that could make me smile. But never ever think of me and harley that way. You're all that I want and need to keep safe."
He softly stroked my cheek,
"Come now. Everyone is waiting. I will provide you with your outfit."
He gave me and evil grin. I don't like where this is going...
Joker's POV
When we arrived at the hideout we were at before, everyone watched as (Y/n) and I entered,
"(Y/n) has officially agreed to join us. So... She needs a signature costume."
The riddler spoke up,
"Well isn't Bane her mentor?"
"Bane isn't here... Where is he?"
Suddenly the door busted open,
"MISTAH J!!!"
(Y/n) and I turned to see harley with a mallet look if angry,
"Harley?"
"DONTCHA 'HARLEY' ME!!! I KNOW YOUVE BEEN SNEAKIN AROUND WITH (Y/N)!!!"
Everyone started "oou"ing.
Reader's POV
Harley bursted in and exposed the relationship between the Joker and I. I looked at harley who started screaming and shit. But it was all blocked out from my head. She swung he mallet at me and something in me snapped. I pushed the joker out of the way while dodging the mallet being swung around. I started screaming at Harley,
"HOW CAN YOU EVEN BE SURE YOUR 'MISTAH J' EVEN LOVES YOU BACK?!?!"
"SHUT UP!!!"
She continued swinging as I grabbed the handle of her mallet and tugged her behind me, making her crash into the wall. I grabbed a baseball bat that rested on the wall and walked up to her,
"You know whatcha are?? Your justa spoiled obsessive little brat who's just afraid of rejection! SO YOU CREATED A GOD DAMN STUPID FANTASY THINKING THAT THE JOKER LOVES YOU!!!!! WELL GUESS WHAT SWEETIE!!! ... He doesn't."
Her eyes widened. She quickly pulled out a gun and pointed it at me which I started laughing at. I swung my bat at the gun making it knock out of her hand,
"Sweet dreams darling..."
I swung the bat at her, knocking her out. I turned around and found everyone staring at me in shock. The Riddler spoke up,
"Y-You... Beat Harley..."
"Her anger is her weakness... It distracts her causing her to fail her priorities."
"And.. You?"
"I use my anger as strength."
I looked over to see the joker still sitting where I pushed him,
"Joker... You alright?"
He got up dusting himself off,
"I'm fine but..."
Oh no... Was what I did bad??
"That was... MARVELLOUS!!"
I let out a sigh of relief as he grabbed me and pulled me into a hug. I chuckled a bit and hugged him back as everyone let out an 'awww...'. The Joker pushed away and whispered in my ear,
"But anyways... Since you're considered mine... You shall somewhat match me. Do you understand darling?"
His voice send chills down my spine. Joker and Everyone else dragged me to a specific part of the hideout. The riddler stood beside me along with Two face on my other side. Joker appeared on a stage,
"How'd that get there...?"
"WELCOME TO JOKER'S FUN HOUSE!!! TODAY WE WILL BE GIVING OUR NEW MEMBER.... A makeover... 😈😈😈... IVY WILL YOU PLEASE BRING MS (Y/N) TO THE DRESSING ROOMS!!"
I gulped... A few seconds later, poison Ivy dragged me to a dressing room. A bunch of outfits were piled up and hanging along the wall,
"...? Which one first Ivy?"
"Darling.. You have to wear all of them until you feel comfortable and we agree on it."
"Wait! YOU'LL ALL BE JUDGING?!"
"Yes, yes darling. Now get changing!"
I came out in various outfits one by one. It took about 5 hours until we settled with an outfit(the one above). The joker's smile widened,
"You look beautiful my dear..."
I smiled back and hugged him. I felt his arms wrap around me,
"Thank you Joker..."
"For?"
"Taking me in."
"I would do anything for you."
