Reader's POV
After what Bruce said about taking down the joker and the others, I felt bad because I actually liked them as friends. I looked at him while still in his arms,
"Uhm... Can we just, send them all to jail instead of hurting them?"
He sighed then smiled lightly,
"Sure... If that's what makes you happy. But it can't be jail. It has to be Arkham Asylum."
I nodded enthusiastically, happy that they wouldn't get hurt but happy that they would be locked up. My phone started ringing,
"Hello?"
"(Y/n)?"
I looked over to Bruce,
"J-Joker? How'd you get my number?"
Bruce's eyes widened and I put Joker on speaker. We listened to him talk,
"You know, not only normal have computers!"
"My number's online?"
He laughed,
"No, I lied. I'm downstairs in the lobby of your apartment holding a gun to the receptionist's head!"
Bruce lost it and snapped at the joker,
"Joker! Release the poor guy! He hasn't done anything wrong!"
"Ahh! Bats, you're with my little darling aren't you?"
We heard a gun shot then the phone hung up. I shrugged,
"I guess I don't have to pay rent anymore..."
I turned around to see Bruce grabbing a luggage and throwing in my clothes shoes and accessories,
"Uhhmm... Hasn't Alfred ever told you to never go through ladies' closets?"
He looked up at me with a "What the hell are you saying?" look. I held my hands up surrendering,
"All I'm saying is..."
I snatched a high heel shoe from him,
"GET YOUR BAT PAWS OFF MAH STUFF!!!"
He backed up and chuckled,
"You sounded like Harley Quinn for a moment."
I smiled,
"Why are you even packing my stuff?"
Batman's POV
"I'm packing your bag because the joker is obviously after you, so you're living with me now, at Wayne Manor."
"W-wha?? I-I... Why?!"
I walked up to (Y/n) and looked down at her. I zipped up her luggage while keeping an eye on her. When I finished I cupped her face in my hands,
"You're all I'm fighting for now."
I pulled her into a kiss then pulled away,
"Do you trust me?"
"Yes."
She smiled. I picked up her bag and wrapped it around my body, then picked up bridal style and tossed her out the window. She started screaming which made me laugh. The front door soon bursted open and I dived out the window.
Reader's POV
When he tossed me out the window, my eyes widened and I screamed, but then I was caught,
"WHO THE HELL ARE YOU?!?!"
"I work with, and for Batman. You can call me Nightwing."
"SO HE EXPECTED YOU TO CATCH ME?! WHAT IF YOU MISSED?!?!"
He chuckled,
"I never miss."
He tossed me into the batmobile and the batman landed beside me,
"Hello."
"You asshole."
He smiled but then turned serious,
"Never leave my side..."
