Batman x Reader Chapter 4 : "I missed you..."

Joker's POV

When all the lights went out, I quickly got up and heard the door open. I heard Bane's loud ass running, then the door slam closed, then... High heels? He took (Y/n)... I grinned and started laughing as the lights came back on to see everyone staring at me. Harley came up to me,

"Mistah J? Why do ya seem upset?"

I put my hand on her face and pushed her away,

"Everyone... Search for Bane and his darling little apprentice, (Y/n)."

Everyone nodded and left, except for Harley,

"Yanno Mistah J... If I didn't know better, I would think that you've taken an interest in (y/n)."

"Oh harley... Do me favour sweets?"

"Yes?"

"GO FIND BANE AND (Y/N) YOU STUPID IDIOT!!!"

She ran out of the room frightened at the sudden outburst.

Reader's POV

Batman took me ho-- wait... THIS AINT MY HOUSE!!! THIS IS SOME NEXT CAVE!!! I looked over to batman,

"Where are wee...?"

"The Batcave?"

" ._. ...I wanna go home..."

He parked on a platform and I just sat there as he got up and out of the vehicle. I jumped into the back seat and curled up in a ball. I then heard the door open,

"(y/n)... Come out."

"Nuuuu..."

"I'll let you play with weapons..."

I got up and rushed to the door and jumped onto the batman, hugging him,

"Promise?"

"And if I don't?"

I had my arms wrapped around his neck like a wife seeing her husband home from the army,

"If you don't, I'll latch onto you forever."

"I would like that..."

My eyes widened and my face turned red as I hid my face in his neck. Holy crap... Did batman just... Flirt with me?? No, it can't be... Holy moly, am I... BLUSHING!? I put my legs down but kept my arms around his neck and just looked at him. Mother of God... He looks cuter up close. Things started getting awkward as he backed me up so that I was leaning against the batmobile. I turned a deep shade of red and looked away. I just thought to myself,

"~My god... What have I gotten myself into...!?~"

I felt a gloved hand slip under my chin, and my head turned back looking at him,

"~I'm dreaming... Ya! That's all! I'M DREAMING!!! HOLY CRAAAAPPP!!!!!~"

Next thing I knew, a pair of lips were placed upon mine. My eyes widened, as i thought of pushing away I just fell into the kiss. My god, HIS LIPS ARE SO SWEET. He pulled back,

"(Y/n)..."

I looked at him and he seemed a bit red,

"Y-Yeah?"

"I... I love you."

"Wh--? Since.....?"

Batman's POV

I finally got it all out of my system,

"Since..."

Well... Not all of it. Shit.

"Since highschool."

"H-High... S-School??"

I turned around and walked off,

"Stay here."

"Ok..."

I walked to another room and removed my armour, leaving me in only a black t-shirt and black pants with black boots. I washed my face and went back to (Y/n). She was spinning on a chair while playing with a batarang, then suddenly stopped and looked at me. Her eyes widened even more than when we kissed. She got up and walked over to me,

"Bruce...?"

She poked my stomach. Looked up at me once more then hugged me around the waist,

"Oh my god... I missed you..."

I hugged her back,

"I missed you too."
