Ayanokouji Kiyotaka POV

"What the hell are you doing, Ryuuen?"

The magenta haired boy was fighting against an opposing gang, and I happened to get caught up in it.

He looked back at me. "You... what was your. name again? Ayanokouji?"

"Oi! Pay attention on the fight, dumbass!" One of the guys rushes at him.

"Tch." Ryuuen manages to dodge it.

I'm quite surprised. For a middle schooler, Ryuuen's instincts are pretty good. Fighting against 5 individuals, even if they're unskilled, is quite difficult. He isn't exactly winning though.

In fact, I'd guess that he would lose soon, unless he does something.

"Yeah, it's Ayanokouji."

"Well then, Ayanokouji. Get out of this place unless you wanna fight too." He calmly responds.

"I needed to ask you for a favor. Could you help me?"

"It depends on what it is but--" Ryuuen grunts as he blocks another attack, "I'll see what I can do if you help me out here."

"Sure." There's nothing I lose here either way. If he doesn't help me, I'll find a different method. Besides that, I don't see myself losing.

I put down my backpack. There's a bunch of important school material in there that I'd rather not lose.

Well then, I guess I'll make this quick.

I'm not writing another fight scene.

"What's with that monstrous strength? Are you some kind of insane body builder?" Ryuuen asks.

"I just work out occasionally."

"Kukuku, whatever workout that is, I'd like to know it. Well, what's the favor?"

"What does 'no cap' mean?"

Ryuuen looks dumbfounded by my inquiry. I guess it's common knowledge, but not to me.

He rushes as me, attempting to kick me. I step back and dodge.

"What are you doing?"

"Kuku, I just wanted to test you a bit more. Your instincts are completely abnormal, aren't they?"

He continued attacking me, to no avail of course, but eventually got worn out. He sat down onto the cold ground after minutes.

"Damn, you're a monster." He takes deep breaths.

"So, what's the answer?"

"No cap means 'for real'. 'Capping' means to be lying."

"I see. Are you 'capping' right now?"

"Shut the fuck up." Ryuuen seemed unnaturally angry when I said that. Maybe that wasn't a great idea.

"Anyways, I guess I understand why you didn't seem scared when I took over the class. You were probably in heaven, looking down on me, weren't you?" Ryuuen asks curiously.

"Not really. I didn't feel anything at all."

Ryuuen observed me closely, looking for any subtle reactions.

"It doesn't seem like you're lying... is what I would say if I could see through that damned poker face of yours. I can't choose between calling you a robot or a monster..."

"It doesn't matter to me..." I reply as I turn away, intending to leave.

"Just know this. I'll beat you eventually, be prepared for it. And when I do... I'll make you my weapon. My personal guard. You'll follow me until I rule this place."
