Baby's First Swim Lesson

Playdate

As I got into their car, I saw a huge mess! Baby bottles, socks, food crumbs all littered the floor.

Cody sat in the middle in a car seat, and I sat on the right side.

"Mommy can you put on bluey?" Cody asked

"Sure baby" Ms Baxter said as she pressed a few buttons and bluey came on in the screen in the back.

I thought. As the intro started playing. But I watched it.

Cody's house was ten minutes away so for ten minutes we watched Bluey. It's a show about a blue dog and her family. I thought it would be bad but I kinda liked it.

Eventually we got to his house.

"Both of you boys still smell like chlorine, maybe you two should take a bath." She said

"Can we take a bath together?" Cody asked

"If Mikes fine with it" she said

I shrugged, maybe it could be fun.

We got out and went in. Shortly after my mom joined us. We went into the bathroom. Ms. Baxter started the bath then undressed Cody. My face reddened

"Do you want to join Cody?" Mom asked me

I nodded

"Ok, I can help you if you want" she asked

After a bit, I didn't answer

"Here, I'll help you." She said and pulled down my shorts.

My face turned from a light shade of pink to a deep crimson.

Mom lifted my legs getting my shorts off. Then she lifted my arms up and pulled my shirt off.

Then she grabbed my tighty wighties and started to pull down "hey!" I said

"It's not like I haven't seen you naked before" she said with a smile

I guess she was right. I also did want to join Cody in the bath, and I'd have to get naked for that.

I let her pull down my underwear. My face turned red as I realized that even though I'm 16, my skin was just as hairless as Cody.

Then I got into the warm bath with him.

"Alright, you boys can play for a few minutes, we'll be in the other room if you need anything!" Ms Baxter said.

Our moms went out the bathroom, but made sure to leave the door open, just in case we needed anything.

Cody was having a great time. He was swimming around in there, practicing what Isabel taught him. "Don't you wanna swim Mike?" He asked

"No, you like swimming?" I responded

"Yeah! It's so fun!" He said through a big smile "do you not like it?"

I shook my head no.

"Why not?" He asked

"It's scary" I said my face turning even redder.

"Really?" He said "you're just a big baby" he teased

I laughed it off "I have a plan though, to not have to go swimming" I said excited

"What is it?" Cody asked intrigued

"Remember when Martha had an accident and her mom didn't make her get back in?" I said smiling like a little gremlin.

"Oh yeah" Cody said, "wait you wear big boy undies though! Are you gonna pee your undies?" Giggling
