When Aries was a young girl she always knew what her life would be like, her parents would control her up until the day they died. She would have to marry another blood purist then he would control her life.

But now at the age of thirty four she wished she could tell her younger self that her life gets better, that she doesn't have to marry someone she doesn't love but instead a man she's loved for years.

Aries and Peter got married in the mid-winter of 1984, Harry was their ring bearer, she had to convince both James and Sirius that he wouldn't have to wear an actual bear outfit but somehow they managed to bring her round to the idea.

Benjy and Dorcas fought very hard to be Aries' maid of honour but neither got the role, instead it was Remus, who pretended not to care but the day he was told he wouldn't shut up about it to Sirius.

And in autumn of the same year she gave birth to their first daughter. Mia. Short for Euphemia, the first mother figure Aries had when she was younger.

Then four years later they had Stevie, who was pretty much a carbon copy of her Uncle Sirius, she was named after Peter's father who passed away that very same year.

Aries felt like the luckiest woman in the world to have Peter by her side.

1st September 1995

Mia had barely slept all night, she couldn't sleep. It was just like Christmas Eve, except she didn't have to leave mince pies or Butterbeer out for Santa.

She had made a promise to her parents not to wake them up before seven, and unlike her younger sister she did keep her promises. She didn't leave her room until she heard her father go downstairs with Stevie, she followed them to the kitchen.

"Dad! Can we have Christmas pancakes?" Stevie asked.

"But it's September, Stevie," Peter shook his head smiling.

"Please! Please! Please!" She begged, jumping up and down.

"Alright, alright, Christmas pancakes it is, want some as well Mia?"

Mia nodded, "Is mum still upstairs,"

"Yeah, go tell her breakfast will be ready soon." Peter said, grabbing a mixing bowl from the cupboard.

Mia headed back upstairs and creaked the bedroom door open but paused when saw her mother wasn't in her bed, she slowly edged in.

"Mum?"

She got no answer, she furrowed her brows, calling her name again. "Mum?"

Mia felt a small tug on her hair, she turned around, she could hear a small chuckle but couldn't see her mother, she cautiously reached out her hand, feeling a silky cloth as she pulled it revealing Aries smiling brightly at her daughter.
