The next day Leo didn't mutter a word to Aries at all, he refused to look at her. Breakfast was filled with awkwardness as everyone had listened to their argument the night before no one wanted to mention anything, Fred and George had tried to break the tension by making jokes but had stopped after they had gotten a glare from their mother.

Luckily Apolline Delacour had taken a liking to Aries so she decided they would get ready together.

"You have lovely eyes," Apolline said in French, applying eyeshadow to Aries' eyelid.

"Thank you. You have lovely..." Aries began to hesitate as she scanned Apolline's features, she was a very beautiful woman that she couldn't decide what to complement.

"Ahh, you too are also charmed by the veela?" she laughed.

Aries cringed. "I'm sorry,"

"I'm used to it by now, all the staring and gawking." Apolline said, tilting Aries' chin upwards so she could fill in the lash line. "That's why I married Mathis, he never laid his eyes on me. It annoyed me actually. I used to do all these things to get his attention but nothing worked."

"How did you guys get together?"

Apolline smiled fondly at the memory, "I had to ask him, and he said he'd been waiting months for me to ask and the rest is history."

"That's cute."

"What about you and your husband?"

"Oh, we first met years ago, I went to muggle university and he lived in the same building as me, he was in a band and used to do gigs," Aries smiled softly then stifled a laugh.

"He had a huge crush on me back then but I never noticed because I was with... I um, I never noticed. Then he left, went off to Australia and we didn't talk for years, then one day I met Daisy and she showed magical abilities, turns out her dad was Leo, we've never really been apart since..." Her voice slowly faded at the end, the longest they'd been apart since they saw each other again was a few days and now she had no idea when they would see each other again after they went into hiding.

"I see, is that why he was so angry last night? Sorry, Gabrielle translated for us." Apolline asked.

Aries nodded. "I should have told him sooner, I thought it was the right thing to do."

"We all make mistakes my dear, and he'll understand what you're doing."

"When he talks to me," Aries muttered.

"Oh, once I'm done with you he'll be dying to talk to you." Apolline grinned, starting her hair.

The wedding reception began after the ceremony, compared to Remus and Tonks' wedding there were a lot more people that had been invited. Although that may have been because of the extent of the Weasley family and they really knew how to party.
