CHAPTER 23

"Why ? Why did it have to come today?!",I whisper .

It has already been a month since my last period ?

Gosh I can't afford to stain this saree .

And why didn't I carry and extra pad and underwear with me in my purse today when I always carry it ?

Also this stupid cramps are going to ruin my night !

I calm myself and try to call Aarya di but she dosen't pick up .

I call Aashna , Diya , Mehek but none of them picks up .

I sign in frustration .

As their was no other option left I decide to call Rahul .

And fortunately he picks up .

"Hello ? Kiara ?",he says loudly and music was heard in background .

The dance must have started .

"Hello ? Rahul ?",I say back .

He says something but I am unable to hear him .

"Rahul ? I can't hear you",I say .

And a minute later the voice disappears .

"Yes Kiara ? What were you saying? And why aren't you back from washroom yet?",he ask .

"Their is a problem",I say .

"What happened?",he asks .

"I ..I just got my period",I say .

"It already has been a month?",he asks .

"Yes ..and I don't have pads right now with me . And it's uncomfortable ...and I don't want to stain my saree",I say .

"Wait let me get some pads for you",he says it even before I could ask him for it .

He was about to hang up but I stop him .

"If possible can you arrange a black legging I don't care if it's short or long and if not black any other dark colour too",I tell him .

"I will try and don't worry I will be back quickly",he says and hungs up .

Though I am wearing a black legging inside my white peticoat but I don't want to take a risk staining the saree . And another layer would be good .

15 minutes later I hear Rahul's voice .
I go out and take the things from him .

"Fortunately a shop was open where I could get these leggings",he says handing over the leggings and pads .

"Thankyou so much I will be back quickly",I say and head inside .

After I was done with everything I go out and see him waiting for me .

"Do you feel comfortable now?",he asks me . You could just tell by the tone of his voice how much he cared . And honestly that melted me .

"Yes thankyou again",I thank him and give him a peck on lips which make him smile .

"Btw here take this",he says handing me chocolates .

"Chocolates?",I ask confused .

"It would help with cramps",he says .

Could this guy get any better ?

I look around to see if someone is their and when I see no one I move my face forward and soon our lips meet into a short sweet kiss .

"Are you blushing?",I ask him wiggling my eyebrows when I see his face after we pull apart .
