Chapter 3- the Castle

When I woke up I felt groggy. I wiped my eyes and saw I was in a weird looking room. It wasn’t mine. I took in everything. I was on a four-post bed in an old looking room. It was all grey bricks with an old fire-place. if you have ever watched any kind of Arthur movie then you would know what kind of room it was. It belonged in a castle. I rubbed my eyes and noticed how the sun was down. But the room was alight with small candles. It sent a sort of weird glow around the room. I gently slid off the bed and walked towards the door. I rested my hand on the cool doorknob but it would budge. The door was locked.

“HELLO?!” I yelled through it. suddenly the door burst open and whacked me in the forehead.

“Oof” I grunted as I fell to the floor.

“You’re awake” a voice said.

“Barely” I replied groaning and holding my throbbing head. I felt myself being cradled in arms and then the person rested me on the bed again

“Eat this” he commanded. I frowned unable to see his face properly.

“What is it?” I asked looking at what he put in front of me

“Food?” he said it as a question.

“Who are you?” I asked

“That is none of your concern” he replied and then I heard the door slam shut. I jumped off the bed and had to wait a few minutes before the black dots subsided and then I was able to look for my bag. I found it hidden amongst the blankets. I searched through until I could find my phone but it wasn’t there. I felt my breathing becoming rapid and I was getting scared. I looked out the window and saw I was very high up in the castle. Maybe if I climbed out of it I could run to home. Dad was probably worried.

“I wouldn’t even think about it” a voice mused from behind me. I gasped and spun around. My eyes widened. I have seen him before. He was the guy from my dream last night.

“I know you” I said in a breathless voice. He raised an eyebrow

“What is your name?” he asked

“Amalia” I replied. He nodded and then was in my face in a second. I yelped and backed away slightly.

“Please don't be afraid” he whispered. I still didn't move and he then looked angry. He slammed his fist on the wall and it left a huge hole. He stormed out of the room slamming the door and I heard it lock. I ran to the door and tried to open it before I felt my eyes fill with tears. I walked back to the window and sank down to the floor and bringing my knees to my chest. I bawled my eyes out. I was kidnapped by some weird, hot guy and I was being held in a weird room. Wait a second. I know where I am! I stood and looked out the window and at other parts of my location. I was in the castle! The creepy castle. I had to get out of here

I walked to the door and banged on it until I heard it unlocked and he walked into the room.

“I need the bathroom” I said with an innocent expression. The guy before me sighed and grabbed a hold of my wrist and began yanking me out the door.

“Ouch loosen your grip” I begged. He looked at me and sighed before slightly loosening his grip. He threw me into a bathroom which looked newer than the actual castle. He shut the door behind him and was just standing there staring

“Go” was all he said

“I can’t go with someone watching” I said putting my hands on my hips. He glared and then stepped out of the bathroom door. I walked up and locked it. as soon as I did that I began looking for an escape. I found the window and it was just small enough for me to get out. I tucked my dress into my underwear and as silently as I could, I opened the window. I looked and saw a small distance between the window and a small ledge. I climbed out and stepped onto the ledge. I breathed in the night air made my way towards a balcony that stood above another and then another and then there was the ground. I was halfway to the balcony when I heard the bathroom door burst open and then seconds later his head was poking out of the window
