She then went back to her place so that the guard would not doubt her.

Within the next minute the oven blasted... Which caused a short circuit in the entire wiring of the kitchen.
This created a huge noise and more guards started coming in the kitchen
Taking that advantage Shehnaaz lit the kitchen cloth with fire and put it on the sacks of wheat and rice which were piled up behind the kitchen counter which immediately caught fire..

This created a huge fuss in the entire kitchen and everyone started running outside to save their lives.
Taking the advantage of the hustle she opened the knob of the gas cylinder and ran outside the kitchen and caught up with the guard to ensure they didn't doubt her.

Within the next few minutes the cylinder blasted and the fire started spreading in the entire house...

Everyone started running to save their lives which gave her the time to execute the final stage of her plan

She ran towards her floor and saw that the guard outside Heera's room was not in his place.. maybe he went to check on the commotion downstairs
Shehnaaz barged in the room and to her heart's relief she saw Heera sitting on the bed with her knees brought to her chest and forehead rested on them.

Shehnaaz ran towards her and shook her.. Heera got startled and yelped

Heera: Shehnaaz tu yaha?

She asked perplexed

Shehnaaz grabbed her arm and lifted her to standing position

Shehnaaz: haan mai.. ab chal

Heera was still confused

Heera: tu yaha kaise aai? Shehnaaz batao toh sahi ke chal kya raha hai

Shehnaaz who was already tying her bedsheet to the window answered in a hurry

Shehnaaz: ek mauka mila hai.. hume nikalna hai yaha se

Heera understood and started helping her with tying the bedsheet to the railing

It was snowing outside but the girls did not care
As soon as the bedsheet was tied properly they did not wait any minute and jumped off the window

Due to the fire all the cameras as well as the electronic doors were not working
Shehnaaz and Heera ran like there is no tomorrow
They both knew that they did not have much time as the guards will notice them missing and would come after them..
Both the girls held each other's hands and ran outside the main gate and towards the forest which was behind the warehouse
----------------------------------------------------
It was more than an hour since the girls were running aimlessly in the forest
It was snowing and they were not even wearing any warm clothes.
Their entire body was shivering and lips had almost turned blue.
Shehnaaz had already hurt herself on her calf which was bleeding continuously
She was feeling dizzy but she did not lose hope and was running with the support of Heera.

After a few more minutes of running they saw an old house with smoke coming out of the window
It ment that someone was staying there.

Both the girls ran towards the house and saw that there was an old couple sitting on the patio of the house with bornfire to keep them warm

Seeing 2 exhausted girls approaching them they got up from their chairs
As soon as they reached there Shehnaaz almost collapsed
She had already not heald from the accident and then she hurt herself again
The blood was still flowing from her recent injury

The lady rushed towards her and hugged her with the attempt to give her some sort of warmth

Lady: arey beta.. aaram se.. kya hua hai aapko?
Raasta bhatak gaye ho?
Aapko toh chot bhi lagi hai

Shehnaaz was on the verge of loosing her consciousness
Heera spoke on their behalf

Heera: aunty please humari help kar dijiye.... humari jaan ka sawal hai

Aunty: pehle dono ander chalo aur hume batao ke problem kya hai

Saying she held Shehnaaz and dragged her inside with Heera and her husband on her following them

Within the next few minutes both the girls were changed in aunty's clothes with blankets covering them and with cups with hot tea in their hands.

Aunty was dressing Shehnaaz's wound when she started speaking

Shehnaaz: aunty uncle hume kuch bando ne kidnap kara tha.. hum unse humari jaan bachake bahut mushkil se bhaage hai

The old couple looked at them with shock

Uncle: aapko yaha se chale jana chahiye beta... Zyada der tak rukoge toh pakde jaaoge kyuki yaha zyada log rehte hai nai.. aapko dhundhna bada aasan hoga unke liye.

Shehnaaz: yaha se sheher kitna door hai uncle?
Hum hai kaha?

Uncle: tum Punjab Pakistan border pe ho beta..
Yaha se sheher bahut door hai
Par mere paas gaadi hai.. mai tumhe chod dunga waha tak
Chai pi lo pehle.. hume turant nikalna hoga

Both the girls nodded in relief...

Aunty: par shehr jaake kya karoge?

Shehnaaz: apne mangetar ko call karke hume lene bulaungi aunty..

Aunty sighed in relief on listening to "mangetar"
All the doubts regarding the girls were settling in her mind

Within next few minutes the girls along with uncle left for the city
Aunty had given them warm shawls for the journey

The entire way Shehnaaz was trying to make a call but due to the bad weather there was no network
----------------------------------------------------
After a long journey of 2-2.5 hours they reached the main city

Uncle dropped them in a decent hotel.. he even paid for their room even after Shehnaaz assured him that her fiance will deal with all the expenses
But uncle did not listen to her and ensured that both the girls were safe before leaving for his home where his wife was alone

As soon as Shehnaaz reached the room she went to the landline and called her man.

He answered after a few rings... her heart was drumming harshly against her ribs.. the last few seconds of distance was getting her anxiety to reach on another level.
As soon as he answered the call and she heard his voice  a sob left her mouth and she whined

Shehnaaz: Siddhaaaarrthhhhh....
