New King (Jikook) ✓

𝑡𝒉𝑖𝑟𝑡𝑦 𝑠𝑒𝑣𝑒𝑛

Young king looked across towards his kingdom and then back towards the forest. He thought for few seconds before scoffing as he stood up and started walking into the forest.

As he was nearing a little house he almost started running. He saw the house and suddenly stopped a metre away from the door.

He stared at it, hesitating if he should go inside. Although he loves Jimin very much, his heart really broke at the thought of not wanting to be with him.

He raised his hand to knock but his first stopped few centimetres away from the door. Maybe Jimin doesn't want to see him right now.... or maybe older doesn't want to see him ever again.

Jungkook shook his head at negative thoughts and softly knocked on the door. There was a silence for few moments and then door opened widely, showing older's pale face.

Jungkook's eyes widened when he felt smaller wrapping his arms around him, hiding his face in taller's muscular chest.

Jungkook came back to earth when he heard older's sniffing. He tried to pull away to look at smaller's face but Jimin wouldn't move away.

"I'm sorry." Jimin whispered as Jungkook felt his robe getting wet from smaller's tears.

Jungkook blankly stared at smaller, still feeling confused.

"I'm so sorry." Jimin repeated, his arms around taller tightening.

Jungkook blinked quickly before slowly hugging older back. Just as his arms wrapped around smaller, Jimin's knees went weak. Jungkook quickly caught him and pulled him up. Jimin's face now hidden in younger's neck as his arms wrapped around Jungkook's wide shoulders.

"Are you okay?" Jungkook whispered as Jimin was clinging on taller, not wanting to let go.

"I'm sorry." Jimin cried out making younger sigh heavily.

Jungkook wanted to take a look at smaller's face but older refused to pull away from younger. Jungkook picked him up, smaller's legs wrapping around his waist.

King carried smaller inside, putting him on the bed but smaller still didn't let go.

"No." Jimin shook his head quickly, as Jungkook was about to grab Jimin's arms to unwrap them.

"I'll be right back. I promise." Jungkook said with a soft voice, feeling Jimin's hot breath brushing his neck.

Jimin shook his head again and only now Jungkook realized that older's skin was unusualy hot.

"Baby please. You're burning. I'll just get you some water and then you can rest." Jungkook said and unwrapped Jimin's arms that were around him and quickly walked away to get some water, ignoring sad puppy eyes that Jimin was giving him.

Jungkook gave Jimin a jar of water after checking that drink was neither too hot nor too cold. Jimin drank it in one go while Jungkook was softly patting older's hair.

Younger took an empty jar from older and made him lie down on the bed. Jungkook tucked Jimin under blanket while Jimin stared at him with teary eyes.

Jungkook then brushed hair out of older's face before turning around. Suddenly he felt a hand catching his wrists.

"Please don't go. I'm sorry." King heard a weak voice calling him.

Jungkook turned around, sitting down on the bed beside Jimin who didn't want to let go of taller's wrist.

Jungkook sighed, caressing smaller's cheek. Jimin leaned into touch, not breaking eye contact with younger.

"Take a rest, hm?" Jungkook said softly after few minutes.

"I'm sorry." Jimin abruptly shook his head, grip around younger's wrist tightening.

"Stop it. You should sleep. I'll get you some medicine, clean the house and then I'll leave." Jungkook felt his heart breaking when a tear escaped older's eyes.

" No don't leave. Please don't leave me. I'm sorry." Jimin sat up quickly, clinging on taller's forearm, crying loudly.

Jungkook smiled sadly, trying to hold his own tears. His thumb wiping tear that ran down smaller's cheek.

Jimin gripped Jungkook's arms, not letting go as he stared at younger. King stared at warlock for few seconds before he leaned closer, placing a soft kiss on older's forehead.

Jungkook then pressed their foreheads against each other as he stared at older's face.

"Don't break my heart like this ever again, him?" Jungkook whispered, making Jimin nod quickly.

"I'm sorry, please don't leave me." Jimin wrapped his arms around younger's neck, pulling Jungkook into hug.

"Don't worry, I won't.... Never." Jungkook whispered into older's shoulder, hugging Jimin tightly.
