Ruby opened her eyes, the task hard for her due to the throbbing pain at the back of her head. Once her eyes fluttered open, she noticed two figures sleeping on the chairs beside the bed. One was Donghyuck and the other Doyoung.

The interior of the room slightly different than the ones she was used to. 'Did they move somewhere else?' Ruby thought as a pain surged through her head once she tried to move, causing her to let out a wince.

Doyoung softly stirred in his sleep, his eyes opening. Once he noticed Ruby's awake, he got up rubbing his eyes to get rid of the sleep. If Ruby didn't know he was part of a mafia, he looked like an innocent college kid.

His hair that was always parted, was now messy and bangs covered his forehead. His hoodie oversized, the sleeves reaching to the middle of his palm. "How are you feeling?" He asked in a small voice, Ruby's thoughts moving from the boy's cute appearance to the events the last time she was conscious.

"Just a headache. How are the others doing?" She asked and Doyoung gave a small smile, "A headache? You bled from your head an hour straight and then didn't wake up for two days" Doyoung said as Ruby's eyes slightly widened.

I was out for two days?

"Yangyang cut a bowl of strawberries for you for the two days you were out, thinking you'd wake up. So now you have to eat two days worth strawberries. I think he's chopping some in the kitchen right now so make that three" Doyoung joked as Ruby laughed, a wide smile on her lips.

Doyoung watched as the girl smiled happily, an unfamiliar feeling blooming in his chest. His mind went back to three days ago and her disheveled state after the attack. While the members were recovering he couldn't get her words out of his head.

"I'm sorry."

Doyoung knew she thought this was all her fault, but when the other members told him the amount of people she shot down to help them, he couldn't help but melt for her. He had assumed she'd be a liability, someone who'd only bring them down.

But he was wrong, they were expecting attacks so it wasn't her fault. But the fact she protected them, made him change his mind about her. She wasn't the villain he had painted out to be. He found himself regretting the words he had said while talking with Taeyong and it pained him even more that Ruby might have taken it to heart after the second attack.

He sighed as he watched her laughter die down. "This isn't your fault" Doyoung said and Ruby's smile fell, she gave him a confused look. "You're awake?!" Donghyuck sprang out of his seat and Doyoung's words were left unexplained.

Ruby's eyes were stuck on Doyoung despite the way Donghyuck was shaking her in worry. "Donghyuck stop shaking her. You'll make her brain explode." Kun walked through the doors pulling away Donghyuck's hands from Ruby's shoulders.

Ruby finally shifting her eyes away from Doyoung. "How are you feeling?" Kun warmly smiled at her, "I have an awful headache, it's hard for me to keep my eyes open too" Ruby softly said as Kun nodded, motioning her to rest her back instead of sitting up straight.

"Give it a few hours, when the puffiness in your eyes subsides then you'll feel better. This is some medicine for your headache, have it after eating food though. I'll get one of the guys to bring you food." Kun said as he turned to look at Donghyuck.

"Ruby is awake!" Donghyuck yelled into the intercom in the side of the room. "No no no fuck no!" Ruby threw her head back groaning as she heard the boys yelling from outside the door.

"Good luck" Kun smirked at her before he opened the door. Doyoung got up from the chair, Ruby gave him a pleading look, "Doyoung please don't leave! Don't leave me with them!" She cried as Doyoung gave her a smile before he left the room.

"Ruby!" Yangyang yelled, he charged at her with a big bowl of strawberries.

            "I almost died." Ruby exclaimed causing Jaehyun to choke on water at the side of the room. "They're weren't going to harm you?" Taeyong said as Ruby gave him a deadpanned look. "I was forced to finish a bowl of strawberries. I don't even want to see that fruit for the rest of my life." Ruby whined and Taeil couldn't help but laugh.

After the youngsters had left for a mission the rest had come to see her. "You think you're the only one who suffered? Yangyang wouldn't let us touch the strawberries at all" Jungwoo scowled as Ruby laughed. "Yeah we had to be strawberry deprived for three days" Yuta complained and Johnny shook his head.

"You're feeling better now right?" Ten questioned and Ruby gave him a smile, "From the way she threw the bowl at Yangyang because he called her a bitch, I'm sure she's feeling absolutely fine" Sicheng said, Ruby whipped her head around to glare at him.

"You should rest for a bit now, Donghyuck's stubborn on staying the night with you so if you need anything just tell him. Try not to move around much" Kun said and Ruby nodded.

"Can one of you take her to her new room?" Kun asked as Taeyong nodded, "I'll take her" The latter helped her get off the clinic bed and they left the room.

"We've filled your closet with clothes, we assumed you were the same size as Renjun and got you everything so I hope it all fits you" Taeyong said, taking Renjun's name just to spite the boy walking up the stairs.

Renjun turned to look at Taeyong and Ruby when his name was mentioned, immediately glaring at them. "Stop saying I'm small!" Renjun huffed and Taeyong gave him a cheeky smile.

"Anyways, I was joking we got you random sizes but we made sure that it won't be tight so if it's going to be anything, it's going to be oversized." He said as he finally stopped in front of a room.

"I can deal with that" Ruby nodded. Taeyong opened the door, letting the girl in. It had the same interior as her previous room, a bit different but almost the same.

"Donghyuck must be back by now, I have to go though. If you need anything use the intercom" Taeyong said ruffling the girl's hair. She gave him a warm smile, waving at him as he left the room.

She huffed, walking over to the bed and dropping on it. A knock on her door caught her attention. "Since when was Donghyuck so polite" Ruby muttered as she pulled herself off the bed.

Throwing the door of the room open. "Bestay! Where have you been!" Ruby yelled before her eyes caught the figure standing at the door. "Oh Doyoung-" She immediately shut her mouth as Doyoung held in his laugh. "What's up?" She asked, embarrassed and he just shrugged.

"I just wanted to talk, clear out misunderstandings."
