Funny story of the day...
He gifted me his favorite book and he underlined his favorite phrases.
On the last page, the underlined phrase was basically how we could never be together or be right for each other or some bullshit.
Anyways I burn the book and with it all the false promises.
Let me repeat that I burn a book, me, a writer who loves books and will never, ever, dare to harm them. Guess I had the courage he was lacking. So moral of the story you never know what you are capable of until you are confronted by it. And gifts can also be a pain in the ass, so get rid of everything, burn it all, and drown all the ashes, trust me you deserve better.
