On the UNSC Piller of Autumn Captain Jacob Keyes was in his quarters, his hands were shaking as he grabbed his medication, he swallowed the pills and drank the glass of water to his right

He looked at a picture of himself with a woman that was pale like a ghost but was beautiful at the same time, the captain sighed as he grabbed the picture so he could see it more clearly "Heh, good times huh Catherine." Jacob said to himself "I just couldn't get a good answer from you now could I."

A knock on the door was heard. This made Jacob stiffen his position "come in." The Captain said the door opened to reveal a female human in a UNSC Navy dark grey dress uniform, "Miranda." Jacob said, his daughter saluted him "sir." Miranda said, Jacob, stood from his seat and returned the salute

The door behind her closed "you can sit down." Jacob said, motioning her to one of the seats. "Thank you, Captain," Miranda said as she turned to her father, who sat back in his chair

"How is it in the Amber Clad?" Jacob asked, "it's fine dad." Miranda replied as she looked at her father with a smile "it's still nice to see you again, even after all these years." Jacob said to his daughter, Jacob like any other parent was worried for his child, especially since she was in the military "How is it in the Autom?" Miranda asked her father who replied, "same old, same old." As he chuckled

Miranda gave a smile as she chuckled with her father "I heard Johnson and his team are coming over to join you." Miranda said as Jacob nodded "yeah, he's gonna hate being in a ship again." The Captain said as he got up from his seat, Miranda did the same "the Vytal Festival is today you know." Miranda said as she walked to the door with her father

"Really?" Jacob asked, his daughter merely nodded "well, I wonder who's going to win." Jacob said as he and his daughter walked down the hall of the Pillar of Autom

Later on, with Green team, they were watching the students and civilians get on the station from Amity Arena's security room "nice huh?" Kurt asked, "what do you mean?" Anton replied "Ain't it nice to see people enjoy their lives even in this stalemate," Kurt said as he looked at the computer screens seeing teams, RWBY, JNPR, SSSN, CRDL, FNKI, ABRN, BRNZ, CFVY, and many more "yeah...I guess your right." Anton said, smirking underneath his helmet at the sight of people being happy, not fearing an assault from high orbit, not fearing an orbital bombardment, they were just...happy, and it reminded the spartan why he's still fighting.

At UNSC Firebase Bravo Samuel S-034 had gotten a full report on the current situation thanks to Kurt S-051's report on the current situation, "Sam, we've got reports that there was a Grimm attack in Vacuo but Spartan-III teams Katana, Saber, and Gladius managed to repel the attack and contained the Grimm." Sienna said as she put her datapad on the ground "there were civilian and military casualties though."

Samuel sighed at the last part, he hated it when civilians were killed on the battlefield. Ever since he looked back on his past, on his first mission, civilians died because of him and that's why he hated himself in a way. "Well there's nothing we can do about that right now, but we can still do something for the people that are still breathing." Samuel replied, "just think about it, about three decades ago I was about to kill you for being in Menagerie." Sienna said with a chuckle "and now I'm married to the man I tried to kill." A spartan walked in the room, the spartan was a male Spartan-III. He had grey armor with a modified Mjolnir armor that looked like it had gone through hell and back. "Sir." The Spartan-III said with a salute "at ease spartan, why are you here?" Samuel asked

"Sir, permission to speak my concerns with this new task force freely?" The spartan asked, Samuel nodded in response, "sir my only concern with this task force is the fact that I'm the one leading it. If you've seen my reports from Reach then you can tell that I'm not leader material." The Spartan-III said
