Shopping (chapter five)

Your pov

Camila: y/n, it's time to wake up!

I groan, not wanting to get up

Camila: how does your mother wake her up?

King: usually, she uses a vine

Camila: how?

King: she ties it around y/n ankle then pulls it up. And if that doesn't work, she drops her

Camila says worriedly: she drops her?!

King: yep. Although, I have another way

After a few minutes, I felt a sharp thing hit the side of my shoulder, making me yell out in pain

I shout: p/n!

I sit up and looked at the palisman, holding my injured shoulder. My anger quickly disappeared as the fiery bird tilted it's head. I pet it's head making it let out a happy chirp before jumping down and glaring at the small king

I growl: don't you ever, and I mean ever, use p/n against me again, got it?!

The small king nods in fear

King squeaks: yes ma'am

Camila: are you ok?

I nod

Camila: meet us downstairs

I nod again as p/n lands on my uninjured shoulder. They leave then I began to get changed, making sure to be careful of my arm. After changing I noticed something

Me: where's Golden Guards staff?

I look at my palisman who only let's out a confused chirp as it stands on Luz's desk

Me: maybe Luz has taken it?

As I left the room, p/n lands onto my uninjured shoulder. I walk down the stairs and into the living room to see Luz reading to King

Me: hey, have you seen Golden Guards staff?

They look at me

King: the staffs gone?

I nod

Luz: I thought you threw it out

Me: why would I do that?

She shrugs

Me: I'll go ask Camila

I enter the kitchen to see Camila making tea. I put bread in the toaster before asking Camila any questions

Me: have you seen Golden Guards staff?

She looks at me confused

Camila: who's Golden Guard?

Me: nevermind. Have you seen the staff I was riding yesterday?

Camila: not since yesterday

Brain: where could it be?

I heard the toast pop up, so I butter it before eating it

Camila: we're going clothes shopping today

Me: I know

I feed a bit of toast to p/n who gladly accepts my offer. After eating, we went into the living room

Camila: alright, time to go

Luz gets up

King: ok

Camila: oh, uhh, King. You can't come

I look at the older woman, confused

King: why?

Camila: you don't look like an animal that's usually found here
