The Abandoned House (chapter three)

Your pov

I wake up, feeling sunlight hit my eyes. I groan and rolled over, hiding my face in the pillow then a noise blared in the room. It alerted me so I jump off the bed then the noise stopped. I looked around the room, confused. My eyes landed on the sleepy human who has just stood up

Me: what was that noise?

She looks at me then her eyes light up

Luz: oh, thank gosh. I thought I had dreamt you

Me: that doesn't answer my question

Luz: that noise was my alarm clock

Me: oh, ok

I climb back up the ladder and got back under the covers

Luz: what are you doing?

I mumble: going back to sleep

Luz: ok. Can, I ask you a question?

I groan: you just did

Luz: fine, can I ask you two questions?

I mumble: you already have

Luz: can I ask you four questions?

I mumble: you just did, again

Luz: when?

I mumble: now

Luz: can you teach me magic?

I mumble: I would love to, but...

Luz: but, what?

I hold up one finger

I mumble: one, I can't be bothered

I then hold up two fingers

I mumble: and two, even if I could be bothered, humans can't learn magic

I lower my arm

Luz: maybe it's 'caused, they haven't tried

I ignore her

Luz: oh come on, I'll do anything

That made my ears perk up as I sit up

Me: anything?

She nods that made me smirk and jump from the bed

Me: alright, but no complaining

Luz: yes ma'am

As she says that, she gave off a salute

Luz: now, I should get changed

She grabs some clothes from her closet then left. I climb back up the ladder and under the duvet. As soon as I was almost asleep, I heard someone enter

???: just 'cause you're out of school, doesn't mean you can sleep all day

I let out a groan

I mumble: but I don't go to school

???: well, you can still get up

I roll my eyes before reluctantly getting out of bed

Me: what about King? Also, I still don't know your name

???: you can call me Camila. And King, you get up too

King: I'm a ruler, I don't listen to mere humans

Me: I'll get him up

Camila: alright

She leaves the room so I climb back in bed, not wanting to wake up so early. King goes under my arm and snuggles into me making me smile
