"Relax, McCall. I am only just using my eyes for thermo-perception." She looked at him and sighed. "Every person has a different heat signature and every supernatural creature's heat signature is different, along with being much higher than a human. No two werewolves have the same sort of heat signature, for example. The more power you have, the higher your signature." She said.

"Why didn't Derek or Tye, ever tell me about any of this?" Scott asked as he was speaking under his breath and she scoffed.

"Because you never asked. Now kindly, just shut the hell up and let me focus." Beatrice spoke bluntly and she turned her eyes back down towards the crowd.

"Isn't everyone a little weird, in high school though?" Theo asked and Beatrice winced, as she held up a hand to her temple. "Hey, you okay?"

"Ow. I just need a second." Beatrice muttered and quickly, she was taking off running down the stairs and into the school again.

Beatrice ran quickly into the girl's bathroom and she dropped her bag onto the ground, as she was holding her head in both of her hands. Beatrice looked up at the mirror as she was shocked to see, that her eyes were flickering.

Her icy blue eyes were dulling in color, barely there and Beatrice's eyes widened at the sight of them. "What the hell... ah!" She held her head in pain, as she gasped at the pain as it felt like someone was stabbing her in the head with needles, as she was crying out as she gritted her teeth together to try and not draw attention to herself. "Not now. Please, not now." She whispered as she held her head in her hands, shocked and horrified to see that her claws were back out and exposed.

"Beatrice?" Lydia asked as she was running over, as Beatrice was sobbing in pain as her head felt like it was exploding. "Oh god, what I can do? Tell me what I can do?"

"Brett and Casey. Call, call Brett and message-message Casey." Beatrice said and she was grunting loudly in pain, as she squeezed her eyes shut. "You can't take my pain from me... but werewolves and the like, can... argh!" She said and Lydia nodded, grabbing her by the arm as she was yanking her up.

Lydia and Liam half-carried and half-dragged her out to the lacrosse field, where Mason was waving Brett over. "What the hell?" Brett asked and Beatrice was staggering, shutting her eyes as they were flickering uncontrollably. "Hey, what is happening?" He asked and she shook her head as she looked at her hands, which were both trembling and, now, they were almost skeletal when they saw them. "Holy shit." Brett said and she dropped onto the ground and then suddenly, she retched.

Instead of it just being normal food and water mixed with vomit, it was a combination of the standard stuff and black blood. Like the black blood of a werewolf's body trying to heal, mixed with the regular red blood of injuries.

"Oh my god! What is happening to you?!" Lydia gasped at the sight and Beatrice's eyes were icy blue briefly at the words, before, the icy color of her irises was dulling and Beatrice was shaking her head. "Your eyes..."

"I don't know what is happening to me." She whispered as Brett crouched next to her, avoiding the pool of blood and stuff as he reached a hand out to take her pain away as Beatrice sighed and, she was shaking her head. "What the hell, is happening to me." She said quietly.

"I don't know. But, we both know somebody who might." Brett said and she nodded a little as he reached out a hand and she took it, silently shaking her head.

"Casey... Or Satomi." Beatrice muttered as Brett nodded a little bit, and she looked at the pool of vomit and blood. "You got time to kill?" She asked.

"I told Coach that I wasn't going to be able to make it to practice." Brett said as she glanced at him. "I told him that you were having a rough go of it, that you were sick at home." Brett said and she winced.

"Well, that is not really going to be a lie anymore." Beatrice mumbled and she leaned on him for support, as her entire body was shaking.

Brett looked around as they started walking quickly to his car, while she was doing her best to keep up. Beatrice buckled her seatbelt and he drove off as she was breathing shakily and she coughed, blood appearing at her mouth.

"You meant that literally, when you said that it felt like those talons were stealing your life-force and your power." Brett said as she was barely moving her head, but she nodded and he reached out his hand and her pain began to leech away.

Beatrice was breathing now, very slightly easier as Brett looked over at her and she saw with relief when she looked in the rearview mirror, as her icy blue eyes were back. Beatrice's eyes were glowing a little brighter than before and she looked at him.

"Get Satomi to meet us at the loft, it's closer." She said as he nodded slightly and he was holding out his cell phone to her quickly. Beatrice sent off the text to Satomi with Brett's phone and she dropped the cell phone between the seat and the console. "Shit, I'm sorry." She said as Brett quickly pulled his car into the parking lot of the Hale building, as he was shaking his head.

"Don't worry about it, Beat. Are you okay to walk then?" Brett asked and she nodded a very very, little bit and she was already getting out of the car. Brett retrieved his cell phone and Satomi was already there, looking at Beatrice in shock.

"Little wolf, what in the supernatural history of the world is happening to you?" Satomi asked as she was looking at Beatrice, whose eyes flickered.

"I don't know." Beatrice admitted softly.
