"Devoid."

"Just my luck." Casey muttered and she followed Derek, Allison and her father into Derek's loft.

Allison's stun gun had been easily thrown to the side by the Nogitsune masquerading as Stiles, while Derek had been slammed into the table and then thrown into the pillar. Derek hit the floor and Casey, she grabbed a gun of her own and she was staring at Void Stiles, as he was grinning at her. Casey reached behind her and her electric baton extended, as it lit up with electricity.

"You can take out a stun gun, being held by a teenager. But, can you take out a trained hunter?" Void Stiles laughed and Casey got him in the back, but he fed off of the pain and he grabbed the baton, flinging it across the room. She yanked out a knife and stabbed at him quickly, but he caught it and he turned the knife around to point at her.

"Wolfsbane and mistletoe forged blades, right? I wonder how long, does it take for a werewolf to die from a wound from one of these?" Casey lunged at him to take the knife back, but it was already flying toward Derek.

Until something intercepted it. A longer blade, a katana and Casey looked up at Kaneko, who held the other end. Derek was getting up onto his feet, as Kaneko swung the sword swiftly and Void Stiles' eyes flashed at the sight of him. "An ocean fox. I have not seen a ocean fox since your mother was killed. Do you remember by whom?" He taunted and Kaneko's eyes lit up with an ocean-blue glow and his aura was suddenly visible.

"You." The word was almost a growl and, then suddenly, Argent had a gun pointed at Void Stiles' head and Kaneko handed Casey her knife back.

"Good timing." She said and he nodded quickly at her, as Derek was back up on his feet. "I wouldn't have been able to block that." Casey said as Derek growled a bit before he nodded at Kaneko. "He means "thank you" but he's too proud and too damn stubborn to say it to a fox." She said quietly.

"Sounds familiar-" The Oni had appeared and Kaneko stepped in front of Sheriff Stilinski and Chris Argent, as Casey, Derek and Allison took the other side.

It was a quick fight, but still a brutal one. After, it was all over now, Casey was on the floor next to Derek, whose shoulder was wounded from one of the Oni's swords.

Allison and Chris Argent were leaving, Sheriff Stilinski didn't waste any time in following, after Scott and Kira had left. "If a kitsune is an annoying pain in the ass, then a nogitsune, which is a dark kitsune, is a freaking disaster." Peter pointed out as Casey was looking down at the chessboard awkwardly.

"As much as I really, really hate to admit this. Which you both know full well by now, I actually have to agree with Peter on this one." Casey said as Derek looked at her. "Oh come on, Derek." She said and he nodded a little bit in agreement. "I'm headed home, Derek, I have got work in the morning." She said and she looked at the chessboard. "I can help you figure this out."

"Or you could stay over." Derek murmured and Casey shook her head with a yawn.

"Nope, sorry, I have now got an absolute mountain of freaking paperwork back home, just waiting on my desk at home." Casey said as she retrieved her baton as she stuck it into her bag and she grabbed it over her shoulder. "Are you going to  be okay?" She asked as he looked over at her.

"Yeah." Derek said bluntly as Casey was raising her eyebrows at him, as she tilted her head in confusion. "Well, are you leaving or not?" He asked bluntly and she was nodding quickly as she turned and walked out of the loft.

Once Casey got back to her own house, she left her bedroom window open and she ended up trying to sleep with a knife under her pillow. Casey woke up and she found out quickly, that she was chained up with the restraints, that she used to use for Tye on the full moons. Casey yanked on them hard, but she only really just succeeded in hurting her wrists.

Casey was shocked to see that on her mirror on the wall, someone had just clawed a spiral on it. "You recognize what it means?" Casey looked over at Derek, whose face was changed into the wolfish features and Casey stared at him.

"Vendetta." Casey said and she could smell a very faint odor, as she looked around at the bedroom around her. "Derek, what are you doing?" Casey asked and Derek was shrugging, as he held a lighter in his hand and Casey's eyes widened at the sight of it when she finally realized why the odor was so familiar.

"Gasoline."

"Your father killed my family. He helped burn them alive." Derek said and he flicked the lighter on and off, as Casey's fear level was rising and as much as she tried to keep it away and push it down, she failed miserably as he smirked. "The hunter who claimed to fear nothing." Derek said as she was shaking her head. "The child who ran into a fire to save people and ended up failing... The blood of my family is on your hands too!"

"Do you really, truly believe in your mind, that I'm responsible for the sins of my father?" Casey asked and he looked at her. "I didn't do anything to your family, I tried to save them!" She said as she was yanking harder on the chains, as Derek looked at her. "Please don't. Derek, please, don't." Casey was whispering and he looked at her.

"Goodbye, Casey Branson." The ignited lighter hit the floor and Casey gasped, turning her head away and into her shirt as Derek jumped out of the window as then, Casey was yelling at the top of her lungs, as the smoke had just immediately began to fill the room as the house was going up. It was like the entire house had been doused in gasoline.

Tye looked up as he could smell smoke, he could hear the screaming and crying of terror.

"Casey." He said and he took off running and after him came Kaneko, Tye had less of a problem with him as Tye ran toward the house.

The entire house was on fire and when he hardly had to focus on it now, Tye's ears picked up Casey's crying and her hacking cough. "Her room!" Tye said and Kaneko looked over at the fire hydrant. "Do it!" He shouted and he took off, quickly now running around the side of the house and he jumped up onto the roof of the shed, before he jumped off of it with everything that he had.

Tye barely caught the edge of the roof, as he pulled himself up and he howled in pain and now, his hands were burning. Tye scrambled up and he saw a hand on the windowsill. "Oh god, Casey!" He shouted and he could still hear her heartbeat, weak, but it was still there.

Tye managed to reach inside and he grabbed her, as he yanked her out of the fire and jumped down from the roof. "Kaneko!" He hollered and the kitsune came running, with a flood of water behind him.

The water was washing over them both, as Tye was holding onto Casey tightly as the young woman at the moment, was barely moving. "Tye?" She whispered in a terribly raspy voice and he looked at her, as he had been taking her pain as fast and as much as he could.

"It's me." Tye whispered and he looked at her. "Who did this to you? I need to know who set this fire. Who the hell did this?" He asked and Casey swallowed.

"Derek."
