"Chaos Rising"
_______________

"It is a Celtic symbol, but I really don't know where I've seen it before."

------------

Casey was watching from the stairway as Isaac paced, looking extremely nervous. "You know, I'm starting not to like this idea. Sounds kind of dangerous. You know what? I definitely don't like this idea right now, and I definitely don't like him." Isaac said.

"Is he now always like this?" Carter asked as he was leaning back against the wall with a laptop computer now balanced on his knees.

"Pretty much." Casey answered Carter's question as she was flipping through a printed copy of the Bestiary in silence.

"You'll be fine." Derek replied to Isaac's nervous antics, as Isaac was continuing to pace.

"Does it have to be him?" Isaac asked.

"Bloody hell." Carter said as he looked at Isaac, sick of smelling the nerves and sick of Isaac's complaining. "If you really are that bloody nervous about it in regards to Peter, then I can do it." Carter snapped and Derek turned around in his chair to look at Carter. "If Isaac would shut up with the complaining constantly, then I would do it."

"No offense, but I would still now rather have Peter do it." Derek said and Carter shrugged at the words as Derek looked back at Isaac. "He knows how to do it. I don't. It would be more dangerous, if I tried doing it myself." Derek explained.

"You know Scott doesn't trust him, right?" Isaac asked. "You know, rather personally, I would... Well, I'd trust Scott." Isaac said.

"Do you trust me?" Derek asked.

"Yeah. I still don't like him." Isaac muttered.

"Nobody likes him." Derek remarked as the door to the loft was opened and Casey shuts her book, putting it to the side as she walked down the stairs, as Carter joined Derek and Isaac.

"Boys, and girl. FYI, yes, coming back from the dead has left all of my abilities somewhat impaired, but the hearing still works. So, I hope that you are comfortable with saying whatever it is that you are feeling straight to my face." Peter said.

"We don't like you." Derek slammed the book shut and he puts it onto the desk, as he stood up. "Now shut up and help us." Derek said bluntly and Peter looked at him for a second.

"Fair enough." Peter replied and he brought out his claws on his left hand and Isaac sat on the chair that Derek had just vacated. "Relax. I'll get more out of you if you're calm."

"How do you know how to do this, again?" Isaac was stalling for time and Casey sat on the couch and Carter was sitting on the other chair quietly.

"It's an ancient ritual used mostly by Alphas, since it's a skill that does require quite a bit of practice. If I remember correctly, Carter, he also knows it." Peter said.

"Just get on with it." Carter remarked and Casey looked at him and Carter was growling a bit at the words.

Peter had brought them both out of the trance and Isaac was now leaning forward as now, Carter was crouching down next to him. "Isaac found them." Peter realized.
