Poem: "Alone With The Ocean"

Many questions brewing in her mind.

Alone, curiously thinking in the cold night.

Right there, she saw the ghost of a

Gone and lost girl.

A girl who had her heart broken.

Rough waves drowned her;

Emotions overwhelmed her.

Then, the moonlight shined hope.

Her pain broke her but she

Grew stronger as she taught herself how to swim,

And she swam across those rough waves.

God helped her keep her head above water.

A God who was with her through the storm and calm waves.

Nobody else but Him can understand her better.

But sometimes being independently strong can also be lonely.

Underneath that strength, there is vulnerability.

Even though she feels complete, there is still longing.

No matter how long, she finds herself waiting.

"Drown no more and just keep swimming until you reach the shore," she said.

In the cold night, she stared at the water,

And saw a reflection of a better version of herself.
