Albedo would stay asleep until the following morning, waking up with the sun in his eyes he sat up yawning. Stretching his arms over his head he glanced over at his lovers 'body' as he went to give them a kiss. Only to notice they were gone, freezing in his place he would get up and look around the home "Scaramouche? Where are you?!" he called out as he walked outside. His eyes wondering around the place before he backed up and headed back inside. He furrowed his brows as he felt a deep pain within his chest, did the other really just get up and leave him. Did he abandon him there without any notice of where he was going. Sighing he walked to the bedroom and got dressed, the other couldn't have left him.. right? He thought he was doing so well with keeping the other there.. perhaps he should have locked him in when he had the chance. He plopped onto the bed and stared at the ceiling thinking to himself for awhile on what he could do

As Scaramouche arrived at the academia, he stared up at the doors before he pushed them open and began to walk inside, meeting with an agent who worked directly under the doctor who would them guide him to the Sanctuary of Surasthana. As he walked inside, he couldn't help but stare at the Archon held inside of her chamber.
He was curious, was she at peace, was she alone? Was there any way she could even talk to anyone? 500 years of isolation must be hell.
His gaze soon torn away from their child-like form before he was brought inside of another chamber, soon slowly descending throughout the factory and soon to where a small corridor led to a singular doorway. This was it, wasn't it? He swallowed thickly as he he continued approaching the door, only for it to open and to see the doctor standing on the other side.
"You're late, Balladeer." Was all he said as both Scaramouche and the agent walked inside, only for them to be dismissed as soon as the navy haired man was right where the doctor wanted him. "Well, whatever you were so caught up on, surely it's no problem now." He spoke as a machine was brought over to the two.
Scaramouche was urged to step onto the platform before Dottore followed in suit, soon feeling the platform lifting below their feet. The shorter couldn't help but stare at the head of the giant suit and soon it stopped.
"Before you're all hooked up, you'll need to hand over the gnosis, Scaramouche. We cant power this without it." He spoke, earning a look of mild distaste from the balladeer before he begrudgingly handed over the gnosis. Dottore smiled wryly under his mask, holding onto the gnosis for a moment, admiring it before putting it away. "Now turn around." He ordered.
Scaramouche reluctantly followed his commands, a feeling of disgust washing over him as the doctor held his shoulder while another backing was being brought Iver to the new plates on his back. Upon feeling it click into place, he winced in pain, inhaling sharply as he felt the tubes lock into place- immediately feeling weak in some kind of way afterwards. This wasn't meant to happen right?
Wrong.
The doctor had made it like this- if the gnosis wasn't fueling the machine, it would drain away his life force for power instead. Cruel, isn't it?.
The platform the doctor once stood on lowered to the chest, the glass plating being removed before the gnosis was placed inside. And that's when it hit. Thr navy haired man felt a violent surge of electricity through his body, a horrid new substance being forced into him- but it urged him to keep him alive. It was making his body need the gnosis to stay alive. Whatever substance these tubes were filled with, he needed it.
Now that he was in this machine. He wasn't getting out.
He felt tears running down his cheeks from the sudden pain writhing and tearing him apart from the inside- he gripped at his chest desperately, practically begging it to stop. He thought he was going to die. Was jt rejecting him? Was he going to die while trying to fulfil his purpose?

As time passed by, several hours of worrying and thinking about the harbinger that left his side, he hurried out of the home full speed to the academia. If he got there in time maybe he can do something about the whole plan, he didn't want to loose his lover, not after everything he has done for the other. He would make it a few minutes earlier then he had intended, he looked at the doors of the academy before walking inside, furrowing his brows he saw a nearby fatui agent walking around. He quickly snuck up behind him and knocked him out, taking the mask and weapon as he put them on, soon walking to the room that had the machine he opened the door. His eyes widened as he felt his heart drop from the size of it, he quickly made his way to the sidelines kneeling down near a column and watching the whole process silently

As the blonde watched it all happen he could feel tears swell in his eyes as he watched the other fall into the ground. Removing the mask he ran toward the scene where the other had crashed as he felt himself freeze in place, looking down at their body where all the blood and the purple like liquid. He didn't care if anyone was watching as he kneeled down pulling the other's head onto his lap. His hand softly running thru their hair as he moved some hair from their face and kissed their forehead "I'm sorry.." he could feel his voice crack as he soon became a sobbing mess of himself "I should have caught you.." he softly said as he continues to kiss their face repeatedly, eventually kissing their lips. He would his lovers body close to him as he buried his face into their neck, his grip never loosening as he didn't want to let anyone come between them.

The balladeer was cold, lifeless as bleeding out. The foul metallic smell sticking to to his clothes aswell as the sickening smell of whatever was being forced into his body.
The traveller had taken note of the figure in the clouds, and upon noticing the familiar silhouette confusion had struck them. Why was Albedo- a knight from Mondstadt crying over the balladeer, holding them so close and apologising. They turned to start walking towards the two when the childlike figure stopped them before a green light began to swirl around the navy haired man's body, carefully lifting them away from Albedo before the three of them began to exit the room.
The traveller couldn't help but look back at the blonde who was once holding Scaramouche so closely, brows furrowed in confusion as a wave of pity had washed over them. But they couldn't help but be curious as to why he was here and why he was so upset over the man who had tried to kill the group moments before.
Were they close? They didn't know.
All they did know was that the moment the doors closed behing him, the balladeer had soon dissapewred from his kine of sight, most likely being taken to a chamber elsewhere to recover under lockdown.

The blonde would watch as the other disappeared from his sight, his hands balling into a fist as a state of shock and panic went onto his face. He could feel his tears drying up against his skin as he sat there for awhile, processing that had happened. He then slowly stood himself up as he fixed up his attire and appearance, was he really not going to see the other. Was he really dead? What was he supposed to do now that the other was gone, was going there just a waste of time. He could feel anger pent up inside of him as he left the academia to go back to the home they once shared. He had a choice of staying or moving to Liyue to start a new life, a life perhaps better then the current one, or perhaps he should find his master, he sighed quietly as he locked himself in the bedroom. Sliding down the door he pulled his legs up to his chest soon hiding himself into his knees as he let himself fall apart.
