there was nothing that annoyed gavi more than watching Lorelai talk with João Felix,

he was jealous, so jealous and he didn't even know why, Lorelai wasn't even looking at João but staring off into nothing as they spoke

though João on the other hand couldn't take his eyes off of the younger girl, he seemed to be under the girls' spell, and gavi hated that

but she wasn't his, and she'll never be his, so what could he do but watch her fall for João Felix? that's it nothing, nada

oh how much he wished he could make her his, pedri and Frenkie would often question as to why he wouldn't make a move or atleast try to show her he likes her

but Lorelai was now such a carefree person, he helped her become that way, could it be that now that she was free she would want to be tied to someone again?

his friends would tell him to go for it, take the risk, but he simply couldn't, what if she rejected him? what if he freaked her out? what if everything wasn't the same after he confessed to her?

he couldn't risk that, he couldn't risk his friendship with Lorelai just because of his silly feelings towards her

buy at the same time he couldn't ignore what he was feeling,the boy honestly didn't know what to do at this point, which was what led to him sitting on a random bench in Qatar close to the hotel, lost in his thoughts

he didn't bother looking up when he felt someone sit down next to him, he didn't even need to look up to know who it was, the kind and loving aura that followed the girl everywhere she went always gave her away

the girl put a hand around him pulling him into a side hug as she layed her head on his shoulder to comfort him, and it did, like always

"I know what you're thinking, and you know what I think you should do, but that's not what you need to hear" she started " you're a great guy gavi, you're sweet, kind, loving and just amazing, you care for people so much it amazes me sometimes, and if she doesn't like you it's her loss, as much as I adore her, it really is her loss"

"I love you mikky" he told her in a brotherly way

"I love you too, hermanito" replied mikky with a smile

ever since the boy had entered the team and met mikky she had been like a second older sister to him, she helped him through so much and so did she, the two had a brother-sister bond that truly could never be broken which amazed,well, mostly everyone 

"besides, she does like you, she just hasn't realised it yet, give her a bit more time" she told him with a soft smile

"gracias, hermana" he mumbled as he hugged her back

" de nada, hermanito" she replied giving him a kiss on his forehead then leaving, ofcourse not before asking him if he was going to be okay and him assuring her he'd be alright

Lorelai had never liked acting like an annoying fan, but the fan girl inside her couldn't stop herself from trying to get to talk to the brasilian team and getting them to sign, she had been in Qatar for about five days and hadn't had the chance to see or talk to them so she wasn't going to pass up on the opportunity now

the team, not understanding how the girl was in the building,  thinking she was some stalker fan of theirs, had almost called a body guard up until Lorelai realised what was wrong and slightly chuckled

"oh I work here don't worry" she told them making them sigh in relief

"what do you work as?"asked her Lucas paqueta

"well I don't work here here, I'm actually a pr" she told them making them nod" though I am a huge fan of yours, do you mind signing my shirt?"

"yeah sure"

and with that they all went to sign her number 10 Brazilian jersey and took some pictures with her before she thanked them

though they had told her to join them as the others teams were going to later, as well, she sat down next to Neymar with an empty seat next to her

"so, what's your name?"asked her Thiago making her turn to him with a smile

"I'm Lorelai Gilmore" she told them

"USA pr?" asked her Lucas making her chuckle

"Spanish pr, it's Gilmore-velverde but I just go by Gilmore" she corrected the older man making him nod

"I wanna say for Sergio Ramos" spoke Neymar from next to her

" oh no, not even close, I'm Pablo Gavi's pr" but not for long

"ah, golden boy right?"asked her Gabriel making her nod

"if he sees me he'll kill me for 'fraternising with the enemy'" she joked making them laugh slightly

"to me it seems like you're with the enemy" winked at her Neymar making her laugh

"well, I can't lie, I keep brasil in my heart" she told them shrugging as they chuckled then another team joined them, Portugal

João sat across from her and smiled at her so she smiled back and was about to greet him when Pablo threw himself on the seat next to hers startling her

he seemed weird, he didn't even say hi he just abruptly went and sat down next to her and didn't say a word for the rest of the night

Lorelai would like to say she didn't give much thought into it, but really she did and ended deciding that he was probably stressed, it was his first world cup after all

though she saw him glaring at João every now then and she really wondered who so she made a mental note to ask him about it when given the opportunity
