Chapter 36

I look at Jennie and she was already staring at me. She looks like she's either going to kill or devour me. I don't think I like those two options.

"Jen Jen?" I ask cautiously.

Jennie reach out and she remove my seatbelt.
She back her seat and lifts me out of my seat. She placed me on her lap.

Jennie nozzles her head on my neck. I can feel her nose tracing my neck.

"Precious."

"Hmm?"

"Are you trying to kill me?" She ask.

"No? Why would I kill you Jen Jen?" I answered.

"I just want to tell you that I love you."

Jennie peck the whole spans of my neck.
I admit. It tickles but I need to sit still.

"While I was driving?" She ask.

"There's no better time than the present." I answered.

Jennie chuckles.

"I love you too." She murmur.

"You do? Are you sure? You are not forced to say it back Jen Jen?"I gasp.

"I loved you even before precious. It's just, you said it first." She explained.

"You really love me?" I ask again? I can feel tears forming in my eyes. Why am I getting emotional? Why are girls emotional? It doesn't make sense.

Jennie mutely nodded. She remove her face from my neck and looks at my face.
She was startled when She saw me crying.

"Why are you crying precious?" She ask while hurriedly wiping my tears with her thumb.

"You still love me even if I can't read and write properly or I am always checked out of reality?"

"Yes precious."

"Or-or even my family was a piece of work?"

"We are your family now precious. Family doesn't need to be blood relative precious." She answered.

I nodded.

"I love you." She said so sweetly, both her dimples are showing and that cause another round of tears run down my face.

"I love you too." I answered happily. I hug her tightly.

"I can't believe we are confessing our feelings inside a car precious. I planned to confess my feeling in a different setting"

"The place doesn't matter Jen Jen."

I pull back and stare at Jennie's breathtaking face.

Again without any warning I kiss her on her lips.

Her soft, plump and pinkish lips.

I pull back and saw her wide eyed.

"Again." She murmur.
So I kiss her again.

I pull back and smiles.

"Again precious. I think I did not feel those 2 times." She said seriously.

I giggled. She's such a cutie.

Jennie kiss me on my forehead and sigh.

"Let's go home?" She murmur.

"Okay."

The whole way Jennie was holding my hand. At one point I dozed off.

I feel someone kissed my whole face.

"We're here precious." Jennie whisper.
I open my eyes and saw Jennie kneeling again on my side.

"I hope you did not kill another poor insect Jen Jen." I warn.

Jennie shooks her head. "I checked before I kneel precious."

"Good!" I answered sleepily.

"Do you want to eat dinner? It's only 7pm." She ask.

I nodded.

She helps me out of the car. Hand in hand we walk towards the front door.

Once Jennie opened the door, I was startled when I saw all her family was waiting at the foyer with the other staffs properly lined up on the sides.

"Congratulations!!" They all shouted then suddenly Jennie and I was drench with confettis.

Her parents reached to us first. Go Eun hugged me tightly.

"When's the wedding Lisa??" She ask.

"Wedding?" I ask baffled.

Go Eun look at me clearly confused.

"Yes. I thought Jen proposed to you tonight and you said yes."

Huh?

I look at Jennie and she shrug her shoulders.

"Who told you I propose mommy?" Jennie ask.
In my peripheral vision I saw Jisoo slowly escaping.

"Jisoo." I called.

Jisoo freeze on her spot.

"Yes big sis?" She smiles innocently.

If you ask me?Too innocent, too suspicious.
I saw Jen scrutinizing her younger sister.

"What did you do Jisoo?" Jennie ask, her  bluish-Jenish eyes narrowed.

"Nothing?" She is lying.

"Jisoo's the one who said you propose big sister." So-hye snitched.

"You traitor!" Jisoo accused So-hye while So-hye stuck her tongue out at her sister.
Jisoo runs out of the house and Jennie was hot on her heels. We heard Jisoo screech and we heard a splash of water afterwards.

I glance back to Go Eun and ask."Aren't you worried about Jisoo? Jennie might kill her."

"Jisoo is like a cockroach, She can even survive nuclear war." Go Eun informed me happily.

I look at Soo-hyun to see if he heard the same.

"What she said was true. Still waiting for that DNA test." He answered.

Jennie went back dragging a wet pouting Jisoo by her collar.

Jennie drops Jisoo in the middle of the foyer.
Jisoo stands up, grins and open her arms.

"Who wants a hug?" She ask.

All of us panics and runs in every direction.
