Chapter one ( flashback years ago)

I woke up to an empty house. Mom and dad probably forgot me. Anyway Leandro is coming back from Russia. I hate the fact that they keep me in the dark like I'm a princess.

I mean I can fight I'm not Serena or Laney or mom. I train with Leandro. I saw that I'm going to have to run away from this hell hole. I mean people my age have sleep overs.

The only person allowed here is my best friend Amira. I'm always forgotten the only person who remembers me is Leandro or Austin.

I got up and made my bed.

I took a shower and wore this

I let my hair loose and went downstairs. "Diego is anyone home?"I asked one of the guards. We are pretty close. "No princess I'm sorry they all left along with Laney and Serena maybe they didn't want to wake you up"he said.

I won't lie it hurt my heart but I'm used to being the forgotten one. "Yeah just like the time they forgot me at the mall I'm sure that they wouldn't even notice if I'm missing just like the time I was kidnapped by the Russians"I said while walking to the kitchen.

"Serafina you know that that's not the case. You're always in your room so they thought that you were there" he said. I took my plate the one the cook left for me.

"Yeah right I'm so important I mean how many times did they forget me and then pay me huh I just want attention from my parents if not both then my mother" I said and sighed.

"I'm sorry Serafina but you know that the business..."I cut him off. I hate it that they use the business as an excuse "business business business I'm so fucking tired of the same excuse I've heard ever since I was 11. I mean when Serena or Laney or Leandro have something happening at school they are always there but when it's my turn something important comes up"

"I'm starting to think I'm a mistake. All I want is time and attention that's the main reason why I'm always in my room" I said while trying to calm down my anger.

"Serafina it's not like that,you know that they love you" he said while hugging me. "Name one time just one that Leandro didn't act like a parent while my mother went shopping with Serena and dad was playing with Laney when he could've attended the teacher parents meeting" I looked at him

"W..." I sighed. "Exactly my point and for the cherry on top my parents never raised I raised myself they just paid the expanses and I was raised by myself and Leandro I'm tired of this life I really am, being forgotten is much more painful than you think " I wiped my tears.

"I'd rather have you hurt me physically than mentally " I walked upstairs to my room. I'm tired. I deserve time off my family.

I so wish I could ran away for a few days. Wait I can.

"Serefina I'm home" I heard a deep voice. I knew that it was Leandro. I went downstairs "Leandro!" I jumped into his arms. "I missed you so so much" he said. "I missed you more" I said.

We broke the hug "where's everyone?" He asked looking around. "They left" I said. "And you stayed behind?" He raised his eyebrow. "Not like I had a choice they forgot me... again" I said. "..." He didn't say anything he just hugged me.

I got a text from the family group.

Everyone get ready we have a ball tonight the car will come fetch Serefina and Leandro the rest we'll meet you there be there by 8 pm
