"I'm working on a painting, teacher.
Would you like to see?"
"Go on then, student,
but after stop pestering me."

"I used strips of silver and gold,
I tried to make them look striking and bold."
"Yes but the red fruit distracts me, it looks old. Like it's rotting into melting mould."

"What would you have me do? You will tell me, won't you?"
"Drown it with the sea, with a hue. Maybe a deep, sad blue."

"But Sir, I only own shades of red, white and gold! I do not have any shades of blue that are old!"
"Then let me give you a blue that is bold! One that is striking, unused and untold."

"No! Sir, stop! You're destroying my art! It is not yours to paint! Please I will faint!"
"Silence! Know your place and let me taint! You are the sinner and I am the saint!"

"Yes sir. Forgive my scarlet red."
"Good boy. Now act as though nothing was ever said."
