Let me tell you something,
and you'll listen like how you listen to birds sing.

The flowers don't try to look right,
they just open their petals and turn to the light.

Call your duties two birds to hit a stone with.
Altering the prophecy just to spite some myth.

Don't be blue around me when my attire is blessed with purple and gold.
I was too mercurial to fit the solid stone mould.

My face is a rarity here,
let me make that clear.

And I am beginning to carve out a road, unwinding.
My future I am illuminating, finding.

I am becoming my own now, see?
Slowly but surely, and one day wholly.

You will bloom some day too,
with butterfly wings a deep red hue.

Use them to fly and be careful not to get them clipped.
You must yell 'these are mine!' after the leaves have ripped.

Let them take you high into the skies that shift slowly above.
Let them take you to wisdom, to growth, to perfection, to love.

And when they die with you, they'll take a form much like your soul.
Then from this land with your siblings you'll finally fall.

Into the pulling hands of Destiny and Fate as they fight to tear you apart.
While you try to break free or fly with your head and your heart.

You will find the diamonds if you are true.
Just as the seas on Earth are most definitely blue.
