It had been a an hour since curfew hit. As I make my way out of the room and down the stairs all the way to the center of the school right in front of the Edgar Allen Poe statue. I read the riddle Weems gave me and she was right, within 10 seconds I figured it out the rest. I snapped my fingers twice causing the statue of Poe to move and revealing a pathway.
"Alright dad show me the way" I whispered to myself as I start walking down the secret hallway and down some more stairs. As I enter further I entered a room filled with books going around the room. It was a hidden a library. I look around more were my eyes land on a painted picture of my father and one of Marcel. I pulled out a book to see it was a journal and it was in my dads handwriting. I looked at the date just to see he wrote in this a few months before he came to New Orleans and died. I was so invested in reading on what he had to say, that I didn't hear someone sneaking up behind me throwing a bag over my head and my wrist being tied together.
I don't know how long it had been, maybe just a few minutes but I heard other footsteps coming into the room then the bag was ripped off my head. I looked around to see 6 people with hoods and mask on. One standing closer to me then the others
"Who dares breach our inner sanctum?" A familiar voice said and once I hear it I knew who it was. Bianca. I started laughing at her, it was funny that she was trying to do a demanding voice which she really needs to work on it like really needs to work on it.
"You should really work on your demanding voice Bianca. Take off the damn mask" I said to them, crossing my arms against my chest. As she took hers off the rest followed. Showing three of her friends that I don't know and Xavier. I looked to the one next to me to see Ajax. He gave me a shy but also sorry smile, I return a smile to him because I couldn't help myself. He's just to cute! I looked back at Bianca just to see her glaring at me
"How did you get down here?" Ajax asked me
"Weems told me" I say to them "I solved the riddle and came to the statue, and then snapped my fingers. Wasn't hard" I say
"There's another entrance and there is a riddle as well?" A boy asked
"It doesn't take a genius to solve it but from the looks of it" I say eyeing the boy "It does" earning a glare from him.
"ENOUGH! The Nightshades are an elite social club, emphasis on elite" Bianca says
"We have roof parties, camp outs and occasional midnight skinny-dip" One of the girls say
"I'm sorry but who are you?" I asked
"I'm Yoko and this is Kent and Divina" She tells me, pointing to them and I nod in response
"Yoko makes a killer virgin mojito, it can get pretty wild" Ajax says grinning from ear to ear
"I doubt that. Last I heard The Nightshades had been disbanded" I say getting bored and untying myself without them even noticing. I just want to read the rest of my dad's journal and more if he has them.
"Yeah, the group kind of lost it's charter 30 years ago after some normie kid died" Xavier explains "Klaus Mikaelson decided to chancel it all until last year" He add, pointing over to my father's painting.
"She's doesn't know who he is" Bianca said
"I know him. Probably better then all of you" I say smirking at them
"Well, I don't know about any of you but he is so hot and I would jump his bones in a heartbeat" Divina says. Okay, I want to throw up now like right now.
"Ewww" I say making a disgusting face
"We have lots of wealthy alummi, so Klaus started it back up and Weens looks the other way as long as nobody makes any waves.
