Luke's pov
I was so furious.
Why would that ass do that to Angelica? Oh wait, I know why. Because he's an ass.
I pushed through people in the crowded hallway.
I need to get away before somebody gets hurt.
I walked out and started walking down the block.
"Luke!" Now it was her turn to chase me.
I kept walking.
"Luke, stop!" She yelled.
I finally stopped and turned around.
"What?" I said
"You're overreacting," she told me.
"How am I overreacting? Im mad that somebody-a big asshole- hurt you! If you haven't noticed, I care a lot about you!" I said
"I knew it!" She exclaimed.
"Knew what?" I asked, confused.
"That kiss lead you to start feeling something for me!" She put her hands over her face.
"Am I not allowed to care about my friend?" I said.
It's true. I cared about her so much, and maybe in a more than friends way, but for all she knows, it's in a just friends way.
"Whatever. But Luke promise me you won't hurt him. He was drunk, he's probably still figuring out what happened yesterday." She explained.
"I can't make any promises," I told her.
"Let's just get back to school," she sighed.
"I think I'm gonna skip," I said, and she nodded her head, then walked away.
I kept on walking around the block, looking down at the floor, and kicking any pebbles that happen to be in my way.
I looked up when I bumped into someone.
All the papers she was holding dropped, and she knelt down to pick them up.
I knelt down and helped her.
"I'm sorry," I apologized.
She looked up "I-it's okay."
She was beautiful.
She had gorgeous, green eyes, and luscious, brown curly hair.
"Are you from around here?" I asked.
"N-no I just m-moved here from A-America" she stuttered.
"Oh. Cool. Again, I'm so sorry" I said, helping her stand up.
"It's f-fine." She smiled.
Her smile could light up a whole world.
I felt like the heart eye emoji.
"What's your name?" I questioned.
"Jennifer," she said.
"Well Jennifer, maybe we could hang out some time," I grinned.
"Sure. But I need your name and number," She smiled, and handed me her phone, so I could put in my contact.
"It's Luke. " I said, as I handed her phone back.
"Thanks," she smiled, and walked away

I went home, and flopped on my bed.
Ahh Jennifer.
I decided to call her.
"Hello Lucas," she teased.
When she said that I remembered Angelica.
I shook that thought away.
"Hello Jennifer," I greeted.
"What's up?" She asked.
"Well I'm free tomorrow and I was wondering if you wanted to hang out?"I told her.
"Sure," she said. I could tell she was smiling, though I couldn't see her.
"Great," I smiled.
"I'll meet you at your house at 7?" She asked.
"Yup. I'll text you my address."
"See you Lucas" she laughed as she hung up.
