Undercity

So in this au the under city is considered as "the poor man's land/hell on earth"

Under city is also logstedshire so when i say under city that's what i mean as it's another name in this story

Tommy is one of a kind as his friends used to tell him

You see he had an amazing ability called
"acting" he can act any age he wants well besides a child under the age of 12 and his height is he decently tall so that's nice when trying to get a job at the hero's
tower

Yep you heard right Tommy is trying to get a job as a assisted at the hero tower of the famous hero team the SBI

Tommy entered the building once he got there and went to the front desk

"Excuse me where are the interviews taking place?"

Tommy asked the nice looking lady at the front who looked up and smiled

"Hello hun the interviews are taking place on the 46 floor but here you'll need this for the bot to scan so they don't think your a intruder so just go the the elevator and the bot'll will ask for the card so just hold it out and it'll scan it but please don't loose it and bring it back to me after the
interview" the lady explained every detail that
Tommy took into account

Tommy then took the card and walked to where she pointed and entered the elevator to see the bot right there

"Hello please let me see your card" the bot asked and so Tommy held out the card and which the bot quickly scanned

"Floor 46 is where you need to go correct?" The bot asked as he finished scanning and in which Tommy nodded and so the elevator started it's Journey up

"I've noticed your hurt do you need to go to med bay on floor 45?" The bot asked in which Tommy quickly yelled out "no! I'm fine don't go telling others that, I'm perfectly fine!!" Then the doors opened and he quickly left and saw a waiting room and sat near a corner and waited

The bot had stayed on his floor for some odd reason and it looked like Tommy was the last one to go

After he was called he got up and followed the bot and entered the room the bot told him to go to

He entered and saw Whisp and Blade but no
Corvine that made Tommy a little sad due to

Corvine being his favorite hero

"Ah you must be Thomason Innit Simons am i correct?" Whisp asked

"Yeah but i prefer Tommy thanks" he said answering the question after sitting down on a very nice chair that was in front of the desk that whisp was sitting on not very "regal" like and by that i mean he's sitting on the actually sitting on the desk and not the chair where he should be at and the worst part about it in Tommy's opinion anyways was that

He. Was. Right. In. Front. Of. Him.

And it was really bothering him but he didn't say anything but here's the thing Blade noticed his discomfort but noticed he didn't dare say something

So after what felt like hours of questions and answers they got to the last question

"Ok last question where do you reside in this country?" Whisp asked

"District 8. " Tommy answered whiteout hesitation due to him knowing that he had to lie about it but he felt sad knowing he couldn't just up and say where he actually lived due to it being one of the more "dangerous" places
Blade noticed his demeanor change and didn't like it one bit

He knew he was hiding something but he didn't know what not just yet

"Alright glad your not from that dreadful under city like some others!" Whisp said happily
Tommy looked at him horrified

"Ye-yeah glad I'm not one of those fr-freaks..
Tommy whispered his voice quiet
Now blade was slightly offended but didn't say anything but he knew the kid was definitely hiding something
But maybe so was the blade

"We'll give you an email soon to say whether your in or not" Whisp said happily

Tommy rubbed his arm just as the blade did

They looked at each other for the first time during that whole interview

The blade nodded his head finally realizing just gets he was hiding

He was from the under city

When you go to the under city you get a branding make to show you stay there

Blade was just the same as him

After Tommy left Corvine entered the room and they started chatting

As they were chatting about someone else blade finally spoke up

"Tommy i like him" blade said finally putting his book down
This made the two other hero's surprised

"Oh you like someone?" Corvine asked

"Now that you say some Tommy was quite a interesting one i also like him!!" Whisp happily said almost like a child on Christmas Day

"Well i think we know who were hiring huh?"
Convent said smiling and as he looked at blad she noticed the slight smile on his face and knew this kid had a reason for blade wanting him here but none the less was happy for his son and partner

So the next few days of Tommy being hired has been him learning how to do his work

It had been pretty easy to learn for Tommy as he had skills if that's what you want to call it

It ha snow been around one month and Tommy brand in one of his friends to show him the work place but that's when things got nasty

"Oh Tommy who's this?" Corvine or Phil as Tommy learned later on

"This is one of my friends!" Tommy said happily holding his friends hand

"Well it's a pleasure to meet you!" Phil said then went to get some work done
Whisp came and met the new friend of Tommy's and they chatted while Tommy got some work done

Then Tommy heard it

The sound of glass shattering

He ran to the kitchen to find Whisp standing onto of his friend with glass around him

"What the hell wilbur!?" Tommy yelled as he ran past Whisp and to his friend and held him

"Why the hell did you do that!?" Tommy yelled holding his best friend who was holding his face in pain

Then they heard footsteps coming in it was Phil and balade or techno as he also learned

"Their human beings Wilbur!!" He yelled at his

"employer" with anger boiling in him

"You didn't tell me they were from the under city!!"
Wilbur yelled out angry about something as stupid as that

"What difference does that make?" Blade asked from behind them

"What difference does that make!? Their dangerous!!" He yelled back
now that made Tommy snap

He stood up letting go of his friend and just as blade walked over and they stood next to each other and said

"I'm from the under city.

Techno the blood god and a hero of this country came from the under city? That place of all places

Tommy picked up his best friend and took him to med bay

"You truly are a monster Wilbur you don't deserve your title as hero what makes you even think people from the under city dangerous what that were hybrids? That we pick fights often? It doesn't mean all of us are bad" techno said slightly angry about what Wilbur welled

"I'm sorry.." Wilbur whispered

"Don't say that to me say that to everyone you've hurt by your words"

See under city people aren't all that bad they don't deserve all that hate

They are still humans..
