"bye Laura!"My mom gives me a hug."Ross will be there to guide you and help you out if you need anything.I love you and have fun."I smile and hug my mom."Bye,love you to."

"So are you ready to start a new life here?"Ross asks holding my hand.I nod."Yeah,but I thought I already have."

"Not yet,it starts when you come here."Ross says pulling up into a par king lot at this huge school.Wow,he was right,it does start at high school.He gets out the car and opens the door for me."So,your first class is earth science right?"Ross asks.I look at my paper were all my classes were listed.I nod."OK,I'm not in that class but I have a friend Ariana who is in that class,come on I'll introduce you."He says.

"Hi Ariana,"Ross asks.A girl with a long brown ponytail and dimples smiles at Ross."Hey Ross."

"This is Laura,Laura this is Ariana."

Ariana looks at me and smiles wider."Hi.Are you new here?"She asks."Yeah,I moved here a week ago."

"She has earth science with you so do you mind if you could..."

"Oh,yeah sure.Come with me."Ariana says."Bye Ross."We both say.

"Bye."

"So,how do you like it here so far."Ariana asks as we walk down the hall.

I actually have to stop think about this."Well,I've only been here for a few weeks so I haven't really discovered much about California but I really like it so far."Ariana nods.

"So are you and Ross ?"I stupidly ask.Ariana blinks."Ha,no but I really like him."She says.For some reason I was a little jealous.

"'And I know he likes me back because my friend Sabrina's boyfriend is one of Ross's good friends right?And he tells him and Sabrina's boyfriend tells her and Sabrina told me."She blushes.That's to complicated."Oh,good for you."I say.

"This is it."Ariana says walking through the opened door.There wasn't to much people yet."Hi Ariana,who must you be?"The teacher I believed says looking at me smiling." I'm Laura."Everyone looks at me.Some smile,some roll their eyes and a few tell me to sit with them."OK,class meet Laura."

Class-" Hi Laura."

"I'm Mr.Emerson.You can take a seat anywhere."I nod and look around.Ariana had already sat with her friends.I go and take a seat next to a blonde girl."Hey."She says smiling."Hi."I say shyly.

"I'm Dove,"

~~40 minutes later~~

Me and dove got along pretty well.We have two classes together.Plus two other extra ones like Drama and life skills.So four.Turns out we have a lot in common.More than I have with Ariana.But they are both cool.The bell rings for second period.Everyone quickly packs their bags."Woah woah woah,the bell doesn't dismiss you.I do."

People roll their eyes and sit back down."Then why is it even there?!"Someone yells."Be quiet Connor!"My teacher says. 11 second later we were allowed to leave,Me and Dove exchanged numbers and went our separate ways.I go to my locker.My next class was AP Math.Ross comes over to me."What took you?"He says."Oh right,you have Mr.Emerson." He chuckles.

"Well what's your next class?"I ask.

"AP Math."He says.I sigh in relief."Good.Let's go."I say grabbing his arm not wanting to be late."Wait,wait hold on."

I turn around."What no Ross?I don't want to be late to any of my AP classes."

" I know its just..."

"Just???"

"Its just that how can someone like you be so pretty?"I blush.

"Come on,we have to go.There's only five minutes left."I say.He nods and we go to class.

"Is she serious.Laura is new and already she is trying to steal my man?"I say to Sabrina.Sabrina laughs."He's not your man.And Laura isn't trying to steal Ross,their neighbors so they must be good friends."She says.I calm down a bit."Your right,I hope."

Math was actually really fun.I met more people.Bryce and Dylan. Dylan had really pretty Red hair.And blue eyes.Bryce was one of Ross's best friends he is really funny,just like Ross.Speaking of Ross.I'm still not sure if I like him.I mean its only been tree weeks since I have been here so...

He told me he likes me.Like a lot likes me.I don't know,I'm not going to deal with that right now.After Math I had Life Skills class with Ross and Dove.I'm so glad I have them both in one class.

"Good afternoon Class."My teacher Mrs.Yvette says.I sit on a stool in the middle of both my friends."Good after noon Mrs.Yvette."Everyone says.{why-vette}

"We are going to do a project this week.You are going to be paired up with a different gender than you are now,and pretend you are a married couple.The whole week you will try to act like you love eachother and care fore one another."

Oh,that sounds fun.

"I'll hand out the list of your partners.She hands everyone a list with everyone's partners.Let's see,I look through the list.Oh great,I have Connor.Let's see who Ross got.I scan through the list.I hear Ross sigh."Can I get a divorce?"Ross asks shouting out.Ariana gasp."What's wrong with being married to me!?"I quietly laugh."Well nothing its just that since were such good friends I don't want anything awkward between us,you know?"Ariana shakes her head and gives him a death glare."Um,OK Ross who do you want to re marry to?"Mrs.Yvette asks.

Ross looks around the room."Hmm,I chose.Laura."He smiles at me.

After school

"So why'd you divorce Ariana?"I ask.

"Because I don't like her like that."

"I'm confused,I though you liked her."

"Nah,Sabrina is just a very bad friend."Ross looks at the rode the whole time.

"Are you going to tell her you don't like her?"

"Eventually."
