Chanel's POV

"Baby, help me put the star on." I pouted.

King smiled and walked over to me in his matching pjs. "You're too short? You need your tall and handsome boyfriend to help you?"

I rolled my eyes and looked him up and down. "Boy, I'm bouta just grab a chair and put the star on. You doing too much."

He laughed. "No no, I'll put it on." He took the star from me and placed it on top of the tree.

I took a quick photo of him on my phone and smiled.

"Turn the lights on?" He looked over at me,

I nodded and my living room lit up.

I was proud of the tree King and I chose, and decorated.

"This is one of the best Christmas' I've ever had." King kissed my forehead.

I felt tears forming in my eyes.

"Wait why're you crying?" He was so worried, wiping my tears for me.

I smiled and hugged him. "I'm just so happy."

He laughed. "I'm happy too, you wanna decorate the gingerbread cookies now? I think they cooled off."

"Mhmm, then let's watch A Nightmare Before Christmas." I looked up at him and batted my lashes.

He kissed my lips. "Anything you want baby."

"I already got your gifts, Bubba." I laughed on ft with Royal.

"What did you get me?"

"I can't tell you." I shook my head.

He frowned. "Okay. I miss you."

"I miss you too, you can come up for spring break."

He smiled from ear to ear. "I can't wait. I have to go now, Dad is taking me to a sleepover."

"Be safe, I love you." I kissed my screen.

He kissed his screen. "I love you more, bye Chanel."

I waved and he hung up.

"Am I gonna come up for spring break too?" King pouted and cuddled up beside me.

I played with his locs. "Of course."

"Yay. Can we go ice skating tomorrow?"

"Sure, anything you want." I massaged his scalp.

He hummed in response and resumed the movie.
