Your lips, my lips. Apocalypse. j.o

Start from the beginning

But it's the way you smile that does it for me

Jenna looked at you. "Is that an issue?" She teased, a cheeky smile on her face. You just smiled and shook your head.

"Well, I was just wondering." You paused, trying to word your thoughts.

It's so sweet, knowing that you love me
Though we don't need to say it to each other, sweet
Knowing that I love you, and running my fingers through your hair
It's so sweet

"Why don't you move in with me? I'm sure Sadie doesn't mind, you're always sleeping over in my room anyways." You felt your heart pounding against your chest. You avoided her eyes, scared for an answer.

Watching the video where you're lying
In your red lingerie ten times nightly
You know I think your skin's the perfect color
But it's always your eyes that pull me under

It was quiet, you were nervous. "You don't have to, I was just thinking about it, because then we can hang out a lot more, and you're like always here anyways." You stammered out, still avoiding her eyes.

She just had a soft smile on her face. Liking the idea of living with you.

It's so sweet, knowing that you love me
Though we don't need to say it to each other, sweet
Knowing that I love you, and running my fingers through your hair
It's so sweet

"I'll move in with you." You blinked, you felt butterflies.

"Really?" You turned to her. She took a few steps closer to you.

She shrugged, leaning onto the counter behind her. "You said it, I'm here all the time, so why not?" You broke out into a goofy grin.

"Sick!"

And I will gladly break it
I will gladly break my heart for you
And I will gladly break it
I will gladly break my heart for you
And I will gladly break it
I will gladly break my heart for you
And I will gladly break it
I will gladly break my heart for you

It fell silent, you both just listened to the song start coming to a close. You watched as she looked at the oven, you paid attention to every detail on her face.

It's so sweet, knowing that you love me
Though we don't need to say it to each other, sweet
Knowing that I love you, and running my fingers through your hair
It's so sweet

"You keep looking at me." She pointed out, making you blush. You kept quiet, listening to the opening verse of Apocalypse by Cigarettes After Sex.

"I can't look at you?" You watched her jump off the counter and get closer to you. You hesitated, you've already asked her to move in with you, should you tell her that you love her? "Jenna, I-" She just looked at you. It made it hard for you to keep talking.

"Are you okay?" She laughed, her eyes still on yours.

"I should've told you before I asked you to move in, but I really like you. Like, love, I guess? I don't know I just really like the feeling you give me when you come over." You rambled. "I always enjoy whenever you come and sleepover even though you come at the ass crack of dawn. I always watch your interviews and shows, just to support you."

Got the music in you, baby
Tell me why
Got the music in you, baby
Tell me why
You've been locked in here forever

And you just can't say goodbye

You stopped, not looking at Jenna. "I've been in love with you for so long. Fuck, sometimes when I have a love interest for a job, I pretend they're you."

Your lips, my lips
Apocalypse

You weren't looking at her, but she was stepping closer to you. "I love you too." She giggled.

"Really?" You asked, staring at her in disbelief.

Your lips, my lips
Apocalypse

The two of you leaned closer and closer. Your lips brushing.

The oven went off. You both flinched, lips brushing. You huff, breaking into another smile. "Can I get to the oven?" She had you pinned on the counter, she let out a breathy laugh and stepped back.

You took out the cookies, placing them onto your counter. You turned back to Jenna, who was just watching you intently. You stepped closer with a smile, leaning in and kissing her. She wrapped her arms around your neck, yours around her waist. You pulled her closer, making her smile.

"What is that smell?" Your roommate walked into the kitchen. "Oh shit." You both pulled away, looking at the redhead, who was smirking.

"Sadie.." You trailed off, awkwardly.
