You're mourning
For what was never lost -
The sharp knife of 'almost,'
Still burried in your heart,
Aching for what never was,
Never will be.And outside
The moon was watching you -
Bearing the same heartache
Of almost burning bright,
Yearning for a light of his own,
No more borrowed.Tomorrow -
You hope would never come.
Stretch this night eternal,
There's so much more to cry,
To drown the pain and memories,
Wanting to forget.
