Chapter 15 "A whole new world"

It felt like a whole new world that almost made no sense comparing to the world she was living in.

She is CinderAni, she supposed to be now in the kitchen cleaning the dishes and scrubbing the floor

Or at least in Jhanvi's house, getting out of her nice college's clothes and covering herself with cinder and dirt before Kamini comes and take her back to her normal life

Not in the arms of the man she loves, hugged tight to his chest, walking with him away from every moment of pain and coldness she ever experienced

How can this possible? How can this be real?

And as if Shivaay can hear her mind and answered her disbelief by kissing her head, holding her closer to his chest and whispering kindly

Shivaay: welcome home, Princess

Anika looked at him with teary shocked eyes then looked at the entry of the mansion, and saw Jhanvi and Rahim waiting for her and Jhanvi was fidgeting in her place and her face was covered with tears

Anika smiled: Jhanvi
Jhanvi: my sweet daughter

(and she ran to Anika and Shivaay reluctantly broke the hug so she can hug her godmother, Anika hugged her tight with a teary smile)

Anika whispered: Shivaay told me everything, I can't believe you told him and wasn't scared of him or Kamini, I can't believe you did this for me

Jhanvi smiled: I wasn't scared, I was terrified

Anika: but you did it, you saved me, you can't imagine what they were going to do to me (then her smile vanished) they were going to force me to marry someone else, I was so scared

Jhanvi: oh my dear, no one would have let them (then she held her face) now you are safe and will have the life you deserve (then she whispered) I was so wrong about him, he deserve you

Anika smiled to Shivaay and he smiled back as Jhanvi put her coat on Anika to hide her ragged dress; and Rahim walked towards Anika and her smile lessened

Rahim swallowed: Anika (then he bowed his head) I am sorry I break my promise and I am sorry I didn't break it from the beginning, I am also sorry for bringing you here to expose you to Shivaay, it was the worst and the best thing I ever did in my life

Shivaay: Rahim, are you apologizing or bragging?

Rahim: both, I feel the worst but also the best

Anika: I understand Rahim; thank you for breaking your promise

And she hugged Rahim and Rahim smiled widely and hugged her back

Shivaay: you must be very tired, please take the Princess to her room Jhanvi

Anika worried: and where are you going?

(And she held on his arm, Shivaay smiled faintly looking at her hand and she took it back shyly)

Anika: today is a weekend, there is no college

Shivaay: I was going to thank the Patel's and then....

Anika looked down, then smiled faintly and nodded

Jhanvi: but not now, you were going to introduce Anika to the mansion first, right? (and she nodded faintly to Shivaay)

Shivaay: yes of course

Anika smiled widely and hugged Jhanvi and they walked to inside the mansion and it was nothing that can be described or imagined, the place was like a palace and there was a line of at least 30 maids and servant, in beautiful uniforms, welcoming them with true warm smiles and their head bowed slightly in what seems like a genuine respect that for Anika's happiness, Shivaay returned back with a head bowed slightly and a warm smile.
