The car ride took ages, and once they had gotten closer to the city, the traffic had them holed up. The chopper that they had meant to join, had to leave without them because of the cargo having a deadline. No one seemed to mind though, as of Kimberly and Soap would get the care they needed before leaving.

Price put the phone down as he finished his call with General Shepherd. He wasn't the biggest fan of Shepherd, but he needed to have dialogue with him as well. He was after all one of the three commanders for the time being of Task Force 141.

Alejandro stopped the car and turned it off, making Kimberly aware that they had finally arrived at the base.
She opened the door and slipped out before the others, stretching her body. She couldn't help but look at Ghost as he got out, but he stared back. She looked away and walked up to Price, afraid that the Lieutenant would say something.

-"There's a new chopper leaving tonight that we can hop on. It leaves at 10 p.m. Meet me in the main lobby at 9:30 p.m. stat. Not a minute later. Biscuit, Soap, I'll lead way to the infirmary. You'll need your tetanus shot and a cocktail of antibiotics. They'll take a lot of tests on you now that we have time, just to make sure you're not running some bacterial bomb around," Price said. Kimberly knew he was talking to her.

-"Sure, Captain," Kimberly said as simple as she could. She felt nervous at the word test. She had been exposed to the most down in that basement, and it wouldn't surprise her if she was infested with bacteria. She truthfully felt like one big bacteria walking around.

Soap walked up beside her as they followed Price, and he held his hand out. Kimberly gave him a short smile, grabbing it. Their eyes met, and she noticed that his  brow was still furrowed.
-"Okay, what is it? Do I have something on my face?" Kimberly asked and laughed. Soap seemed confused.
-"What?"
-"Come on, brother. That brow has not unforrowed since I got back," Kimberly said, raising her eyebrows. Johnny's face seemed to immediately soften.

-"It's a brothers job to worry. You've been gone a long time," Johnny said, giving her hand a squeeze.
-"No, that's a fathers job," Price chimed in, smiling at the two behind him. Kimberly grinned towards her brother, who just shrugged.
-"Fine."

The three of them walked into a big building which was full of soldiers who were running around. Everyone seemed to have a task or an errand to run, and everything seemed to be under control.

Price led the two of them down a more quieter place of the base. Both Biscuit and Soap looked around with curious eyes. They walked through a set of thick automatic glass doors, seeing several rooms down the hall. Some rooms had drapes over the glass, while some drapes were pushed aside, showing the person laying on the gurney.

They stopped at an administration desk, eyes landing on a woman with her brown hair in a ponytail. Kimberly couldn't help but scoff as she saw her, and the woman named Mia couldn't help but scoff back once she realised who it was. The eyes and the familiar scoff gave it away immediately.

-"Biscuit, what the hell are you doing in these parts?" Mia asked, placing the three patient journals in her hands down on the table. She stepped out from behind the desk, walking up to them. She shook Kimberly's hand, shaking her head.
-"I could ask you the same. Was it too much for you?" Kimberly asked, grinning for herself.

-"Something like that. I went on a loosing streak, and figured I would save more lives here in an controlled environment. Let us see, Soap has been assigned room 4, and you're assigned room 8. There's hospital gowns on the beds. Take a shower, the both of you and get dressed. No soap in your fresh wounds. You'll see your doctors shortly," Mia said, smiling for herself.

-"You'll be fine?" Price asked, placing a hand on Kimberly's shoulder. She gave her Captain a nod and a smile. Price smiled back as he left the infirmary. Soap headed into the room he had been assigned, and so did Kimberly.
She walked up to the bed, grabbing a hold of the gown. She then headed to the bathroom, having a quick look. There were soaps and a toothbrush on the sink, and everything seemed clean. Maybe a bit too clean.
