Thanks to Sindri repairing the axe with frozen flames, the axe is now sharper than ever and can slice through anything (In chapter "Leaving it all behind"). Hati's soul has also been strengthened within the axe, allowing his frosty power to enter the axe, charge it, and unleash it in a powerful blast of ice via the move Frost Awaken. If enough hits on an opponent cause the axe to freeze over, Hati's power can supercharge the axe temporarily in a state called Glacial Permafrost (In chapter "Enlightening the soul").
Blades of Chaos upgrades

Thanks to Brok repairing the blades with chaos flames, the blades are now back to their original glory and, just like the axe, can slice through anything(In chapter "Leaving it all behind."). Sköll's soul has also increased in strength within the blades, allowing Ethan to call upon his firey power with a quick lasso motion with the blades and unleashing it in a massive chained explosion on the ground in a move called Flame Whiplash. If the blades are covered in flames after hitting an opponent, Ethan can also call upon Sköll's power to temporarily supercharge the blades in a state known as Raging Immolation.(In chapter "Enlightening the soul.")

Thanks to Ethan giving the souls trapped within the armor a sense of peace and morality by dumping the armor into the Lake of Souls and Leia personally silencing the souls, Ethan can enter a new state in the armor known as the Controlled Berserker Rage State due to the soul's mad influence being put to rest. The helmet of the armor is much smaller and resembles more of an actual helmet rather than a rabid wolf's head, and instead of glowing red, his eyes glow white from within the helmet. In this state, he has the strength of his spartan and berserker rage combined and is actually able to control himself for a limited time.(Unlocked in "Enlightening the soul.")
