A/N: Heya! Just wanted to make a shorter chapter today, a simple one shot to celebrate the recent award Arcane got for Best Adaptation at The Game Awards!
Keep in mind this isn't technically canon to the story, but also is, that will make more sense at the end of the chapter.

The young Holliday walked along the bridge at night with a hood covering his face, he had a secret meeting that his sister Catherine arranged and was kind of nervous.
In this version of the story, Powder didn't steal any of the Hex crystals, which lead to Silco and Marcus never making their deal, and to the attack at Benzo's shop never occur.
But Holliday wanted to meet with someone specific in the Academy, someone he thinks can help him so he gulped and knocked on the balcony door of an apartment in Piltover.
The door opened to reveal a scrawny brown haired man walking with a cane
"Are you, Mister Viktor?" Holliday asked
"I am, you must be the little brother that Catherine talked about."
"I am,"
"Well, come in."
Viktor went over and pulled another seat to his table and placed a cup of tea on the table in front of it for Holliday.
"So, what was it that you needed, Catherine said it was important?"
"My sister, she told me you came from the trenches just like me, she said if anyone can help me submit this, it would be you."
Holliday pulled a small stack of papers out of his pocket, Viktor took them and read the top line to see what it was.
"Academy admission form? You want to join the Academy?"
"No, not me, my uh little sister down in the trenches, her name's Powder, she's insanely smart and a great inventor, not everyone likes to admit it but all the dumb stuff we do, we wouldn't survive 95% of them without her inventions, if she had a real place to thrive then, I know she could change this world."
"I see, I can see what I can do, with luck she could be at least given a chance to show her talents."
"Are you serious? You're willing to take the chance on her?"
"Of course, I know what it's like to be left down there, rotting away."
"Thank you Mister Viktor, you don't know how happy it makes me to know that there are people who understand out there."
"Of course, but I cannot promise you anything, only give you a possibility that things could go right."
Holliday snuck back into the Last Drop and went to sneak into bed but was caught by a certain pink haired "twin" of his.
"Aaaand where were you all night?" Vi said getting in Holliday's face
"Violet, listen I wasn't anywhere in particular." He lied
"Don't lie to me Holli," Vi said serious.
Vander had come clean about his past with a man named Silco and their other friend named Holliday, their Holliday's father, and that made Vi afraid Holli would try to seek out Silco for answers on his father's death.
"Look, I wasn't looking for that Silco guy, I don't care about the family of mine that's dead, the only thing that matters to me is the family that's alive, including my sister that is currently giving me the death stare." Holliday explained to Vi who backed off and sighed
