(Hey guys! I will finally be ending school on Monday so I can try updating more and my finals are finally over! I have regents or statewide tests coming up but after the 23rd of June I'm free so I can update more often!! Your POV

Grace your oldest daughter was starting eighth grade. She was dating Logan Michael's son which you adored a lot. Logan treated Grace with gentle care and loved her for her. She never fought with him unless it was for the remote, or where they would eat after school but otherwise they got along better than most couples.

Grace was going on her first date since Logan and her dated. She asked you to help her prepare her hair, makeup (some), and her outfit. Since Calum and your youngest Alexa were out bowling you were left to help. Plus Calum knew nothing about makeup or how to prepare for a first date.

"Mom!" Grace calls from the bathroom.

You head upstairs and see Grace wearing a floral skirt, and black crop tee. She wears a gold necklace that Logan gave her for her birthday. Some bow earrings and a she hands me a black bow.

"Can you curl my hair then middle part this?" Grace asks.

"Sure thing sweetie did you plug in the curling wand?" I ask as we walk to the bathroom. Grace slips on some black channel flats and then follows.

"Yeah it's heating up." Grace says.

"For and eighth grader your really stressing." You laugh and she sits on her bed as you bring the curling wand plugging to an extension cord. You slip the heat protectant gloves that were given and start to run Argon Oil to protect her hair. As you curl you find that this is perfect timing to talk to Grace personally.

"I just want to thank you mom." Grace says. You smile.

"Anything for Logan to see how beautiful you are." I say.

"Mom tell me how yours and dad's first date was like?" Grace says while on her phone texting Robert, Luke's son.

"Well your father toke me to a fancy dinner and we talked and got it know each other. After dinner we went to a carnival and he won me a stuff elephant and named it Walter. He sits on my bed everyday." I say.

"Walter, dad won it for you?" Grace says. Grace always slept with Walter until she got her stuff teddy from her grandma.

"Yeah." I smile. You realize how much she's grown. Tears begin to fall and you curl the last strand of hair.

"Aw mom don't cry." Grace says hugging you.

"Your growing up to fast." I say,

"We all have to grow some time." Grace says.

"I know so what type of makeup look you want?" I ask.

"Hmm how about a smokey eye not intense and eyeliner, concealer, blush and some light pink lip gloss?" Grace says.
