|24 hours before the incident|

I felt as if I had been preparing forever. Well, not really. I had made sure to gather all the possible supplies I may need while out there, because I wasn't exactly sure on how serious the injuries were. The sun had just begun to rise and I was already heading out, knowing it would be a long trek before I got there. Apparently this family lived out by where the sand kingdom met the sea.

The sun had just finished rising by the time I had made it out of sight of the town. Well, there was no stopping now. There wasn't another town from here till there so stopping wasn't all to optional. I took to the sky, seeing as at least it was overcast so I wouldn't over exert myself by flying as it wasn't too hot.

As the day dragged on, so did the heat but I pressed on. It was my job to help theses dragons, even if getting there would be a pain in my thighs.

Day soon turned to night as I finally arrived at the shoreline and spotted the cave they were supposedly at. Making my way over I stopped just outside and sighed. "Nurse Boa here, ready to help those in need" I stated before entering. I had my guard up in case this was a trap, tho I soon relaxed when I was met with a Seawing.

"Ah! You must have gotten my letter, do come in. My wife is just over there, and my son is with her. Neither are doing so well" The male Seawing rambled, before going on about something I didn't quite catch.

I had begun to analyze the injuries on the female Sandwing before beginning to treat her with the supplies I had at hand. The female had several deep gashes along her underbelly and ragged bite marks along her neck. As I began wrapping the wounds, my mind began to wander.

Whatever had happened to the Seawing that had attacked? Did they just slink away unharmed? Did this guy murder them? Was he actually the one who hurt her and not someone else? Did she even fight back?

After I had finished wrapping what I could I turned to find the child and I was shocked. The small hybrid child was just sitting there, seemingly unharmed. A thought crossed my mind that changed the fate of my visit to something quite fatal.

I wanted him. His mother was already injured anyway and I could take way better care of the kiddo than she could ever. And that's what I would do, I just had to wait.

"Thank you so much" The male Seawing said frantically, snapping me out of my train of thought. "Mhmm" I said as I kept my cold gaze on the young dragonet. "I don't think I caught your name" he said and I finally looked over at him.

"It's Boa. Remember it" I said with a devious grin. I wanted them to remember who it was that planed to take everything away from them. "Oh! Well, do stay the night. We won't mind at all" He announced and his wife groaned in protest but he ignored her. "Of course, then I shall" I said and the female Sandwing gave me a look I had never seen before.

It made me shiver in my scales. It was as if she knew what was to come next..
