"Did I?" He asked confused
"You did. Now it's time to get up because your mommy is going to be mad. Well if she sees you sleeping" I said
He rushes out of bed and does his stuff. Then runs downstairs. I followed him downstairs. I saw Skylar. I smiled at her.
"Dada!" Skylar said pointing at me
"Car...... she just said dada" I said to my fiancé after walking downstairs to the kitchen shocked that my daughter said her first words. And it was dada.
"Mama!" Emma said pointing to Carley
"Ohhh here comes the tears!" Carley said going over to hug Emma.
"Well we both got them to say our titles" I said holding Sky up on my waist
"Skylar is a daddy's girl" Carley said
"Hey you got Emma and EJ. I think I deserve one of the kids to love me more than they love you" I said softly
"You do babe" She said smiling at me
I go over and kiss Carley softly. She pushes me away after a second. I looked confused. Then I saw a little hand, well two little hands. I saw Emma and Sky pushing us away
"Did they just push us away from each other?" I asked shocked
Carley nods her head. "Yes. Yes they did" She said with a laugh
"Sky do you want me to give you all my attention?" I asked my little girl
She touches my face. So I'm guessing she is saying yes.
"Alright Sky I will" I said going over to the table where EJ is waiting for his food.
Carley came over still holding Emma. I set Sky back into one of the baby chairs. Then I saw Carley struggling to put Emma in her chair. Since she's also holding a plate of food.
"Here let me help you" I said taking the plate out of her hand. Carley then put Emma into her baby chair. While I put the plate of food that I took from Carley, I put it in front of EJ. "Now buddy don't eat too fast ok?" I asked pointing at my son
"Ok daddy" He said and started to eat slowly.
"Dada!" Skylar said
I smile and go over to her. "Yes princess?" I asked picking her up again. She plays with my face. "Is this the only reason you called me?" i asked my daughter. She continues and smiles. Which answered my question
Carley brought over a plate for me. "Thank you baby" I said taking her hand and kissing it.
"You're welcome" Carley said blushing then got her own plate. We all then we're finally eating at the same time.
EJ got done eating by the time Carley and I started to eat our food.
He was about to get up.
"Hey sit back down" Carley said to her son
"Mommy I wanna go play on the xbox" He said
"EJ listen to your mom" I said as i ate my food
"Fine" He said and sat down
EJ is a very good kid but he does have tantrum. Usually when that happens I help him through it. Carley tries but I think EJ just trusts me more to help him. He is still a mommas boy. But when he needs help he usually comes to me
"So Eric, I know this is last minute but could you watch all three kids while I go out for lunch with Ellie and Taylor?" She asked me
"I didn't know you made plans" I said
