"What do you mean by fucking around, were we doing.. stuff!?" - Yoohyeon embarrassingly asked, getting a loud laughter from the two. Yoohyeon was serious but they couldn't stop laughing at how red the latter had gotten.

"No dumbass! I meant that you two were clearly in love with eachother but didn't start dating mainly because you were in denial that you had feelings for my best friend and because you thought she was straight." - Sua answered her after calming herself down. 

"You fell for her the moment you saw her. It was the same for Minji too but I have no idea how she didn't know since you were sooo~ obvious." - Sua joked, getting a smack on her hand by Yoohyeon.

"But at least you had the courage to ask her to be your girlfriend even if it meant getting rejected, but of course you didn't know she had feelings too, since she thought you didn't like her. And the rest is history." - Siyeon added.

Yoohyeon was pretty surprised to know this. "That long?" she thought to herself. It must mean that they had developed feelings for eachother when they were pretty young because their age difference was 3 years, which meant that Yoohyeon was 14 while Minji was 17, meaning that they started dating when Yoohyeon was 18 and Minji was 21 (Yoohyeon is 25 now which means Minji must be 28). What was the reason they broke up then? There's no reason for Minji to break up with her after almost a decade of dating all because she had gotten in a coma. 

It wasn't adding up.. Yoohyeon was clearly having a lot of thoughts and doubts about all of this. Was there something everyone was not telling her? She didn't want to think of anything negative so she just pretended to be sleepy. She turned around to face the windshield and went to 'sleep' but she actually waited for the other two to fall asleep before her.

an hour later

Sua and Siyeon fell asleep and that was the perfect sign for the awaken girl to get outside for some fresh air. She quietly got out the car and made her way inside the motel. The receptionist lady was a different one this time. "She seems nicer" the girl thought and approached the woman sitting on her chair, chewing gum and listening to music from her iPod. When the lady noticed Yoohyeon's presence, she quickly repositioned herself and welcomed her with a wondrous smile.

"Hey, why're you alone in this hour? You know it's not really the best idea to come to a motel by yourself, right? Did your car break down?" - The woman asked, concerned about her customer's safety but Yoohyeon just smiled back and said that she's not here for help but just to warm up and went to the radiators to heat up.

"If you need a room, we're fully occupied so I can't really help you.."

"Oh don't worry, I'm sleeping in my car with my two friends while the other ones are in one of your rooms here."

"That's a relief that you're not alone, but why're you awake? It's pretty late."

The woman left her post and made her way to Yoohyeon so they can have a chat. Yoohyeon appreciated her care and made some space so the two can fit near the small radiator and talk.

"I'm just thinking about some stuff." - Yoohyeon shared, curled up in her own space with her back facing the warmth of the radiator.

"I'm a good listener if that helps." - The receptionist answered. She pulled out her hand from her pocket and showed her hand for a handshake that Yoohyeon gladly shook.

"I'm Yena by the way, what's your name?"

"It's Yoohyeon. Nice to meet you."

"Same here. So, why're you so lost in thought Ms. Yoohyeon?"

"It's just that I've been having a really hard time trying to not think of the worst outcomes of meeting my girlfriend.. well ex girlfriend."

"Huh? And why do you think so?"

Yoohyeon shortly and simply explained the troublesome situation to her new friend and it was visible how surprised the girl was by finding out about Yoohyeon's story. But Yena seemed to have an idea of who she might be talking about.

"I've worked here for 3 years and I think I remember that woman... She used to come here a lot some years ago but I haven't seen her at all for.. the past two and a half years, I think- Oh actually, I saw someone pass by here last week!" - Yena said and this lit up Yoohyeon's face.

"Really? Do you remember how she looked like?" - Yoohyeon asked, expecting a good response.

"She had black hair and seemed shorter than you but I'm not sure by how much and she definitely fitted the way you explained her with the whole expensive yet cute look." - Yena answered and Yoohyeon smiled by this description.

It meant that Minji was still waiting for her. This really fixed the girl's mood and she smiled
to herself but was still feeling a bit stiff. Yena noticed this and just pat her shoulder and gave Yoohyeon a thumbs up, saying that everything's going to be alright and that she shouldn't worry so much and even if it had gone wrong, she had friends by her side that would help her. Yoohyeon was touched by her care and felt really close to Yena even though they have met less than half an hour ago.

"I'm glad that my information helped you at least a bit but you should try going back to sleep since it's pretty late. Also we serve breakfast here so you can eat in the morning with your friends before going to meet your Minji." - Yena smiled and made her way back to her post, putting her headphones back in and continuing her music listening session. She is so awesome.

"My Minji..." - Yoohyeon smiled to what Yena said and nodded to her before getting up to wipe off all the dust that had gotten in her eye. She said good night to Yena and quickly made her way towards the van. She was hopping and twirling around after the nice conversation. She seemed less worried about everything. She calmed down and quietly entered the car without making any noise.

Yoohyeon repositioned herself to a more comfortable spot and closed her eyes, wanting for this night to pass faster.

"I'm so close to you Minji, please wait one more day for me."

Yoohyeon spoke to herself and positioned herself on the seat and again turned to look towards the rear window. This time she didn't pretend to sleep but actually try her best to sleep... and she did after a while. Tomorrow she'll finally see Minji again after 3 years.

Or will she?
