"I did" I give her one last squeeze before sitting down, now I finally feel happy. God it's been so long, a fricking year!

Shes missed my birthday, I've missed her birthday, it's been such a rollercoaster without Carmen and I'm so happy she's back. "Where exactly have you been?" Lola frowns

"That's a good question, ask Adri" Daniel replies

I simply flip my hair back before taking a plate from our dad, everyone is so concerned about my outside life and it's a little irritating. Camila snorts knowingly whilst sipping her wine, "Sex addict" She hums

"What?" I scoff as I zip up my hoodie

"Is it so necessary for you have sex with every guy that looks good?" Mom questions

"Ok don't even mention it, it's been two months" I defend

"And none of you can judge me because I know for a fact that you all have a body count over five, minus Lola"

Carmen tuts, "Debatable"

Mom gestures to her, "See? Not so hard"

"We get it Mom, you love Carmen now but we know that your efforts are only because of your guilt" I point out

"Do tell" Camila says with intrigue

"Excuse me?" My mom scoffs at me

Dad sighs, "There's nobody to blame Adri"

Santi and Lola pretend to look elsewhere, "Well you see...-

"I mean there kinda is-

I then look at our sister, "C tell him"

She pours herself a glass of vodka, "I mean it was in the past-

At this point I've given up with eating, there's truths that have been hidden and right now I feel like I just need to bring them to light because mom has been getting away with a little too much lately. Nothing wrong with that

"Mom was definitely to blame for her anorexia, did you know that she was giving Carmen smaller plates of food compared to all of us when she was nine? She said it was to help her" I scoff

Daniel just sighs

And then there's dad and his sister who are looking at her as if shes gone mad, "What?" Camila says shocked

Dad gives mom a look, "Isabella. Is this true?"

She doesn't reply and that seems to piss Camila off even more, "Are you fucking kidding me?"

"You fed her less because you thought she was fat?!"

Carmen crushes ice between her teeth before sighing, "Guys we really don't need to fight about this-

"I apologised to Carmen already" Mom finally says

"You're insane!" Camila shoots back

"I'm not doing this today, Roberto sort your sister out", Mom gets up and we all watch her leave the dining room
