Draco's POV

While Hermione was gone at her lessons, Draco spent his time fuming in the common room. All she'd talked about was Ron, the great chant that Gryffindor made up for him. No. That was Slytherin. And he deserved those mean words, the slimy rat.

Stepping into the bathroom, he rid himself of his robes and took a much-needed, relaxing shower. The scalding water felt like it burned his skin, but he left it at the current temperature. He couldn't deal with Hermione. She knew what she was doing; she knew that what she was saying hurt him.

His anger slipped out of his mind, the water taking it down into the drain. There was a tingling sensation at the back of his mind, warning him, you can't trust her. Not yet.

So he kept Hermione out of his head for the rest of the day, until she stumbled back into the dormitory, in which Draco had retreated to his room, so he was able to avoid the awkward apologies that were definitely going to happen. He holed himself up, closing the door and skipping dinner. He didn't feel hungry, not after the troubling day.

He could sense it.

Something bad was about to happen.

And Bellatrix was involved.
